This was the location that first introduced me to the calzone. Best way to describe it is “mmmmmmmm…” This has been a staple of the Rocky Mount area for as long as I can remember. The food has always been good. The service has always been friendly. Check the hours, it looks as if they close for 2 days out of the week now.

This is my first visit to this establishment. The place is clean, pretty well laid out and has enough tables for a big crowd. Today’s food was decent, seemed relatively cheaply made but it was actually very cost conscious, so it didn’t break the bank. Staff were top notch though.

Frank’s Pizza is a hidden gem in Rocky Mount as far as I’m concerned. Great food! We shared the calzone and the cheesesteak special. Both were delicious! Service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean. We have been visiting Frank’s for over 20 years when we are in the area and we are never disappointed. There are so many great choices on the menu. Plenty of parking.

Always amazing every time I go in. Every time I always get a calzone and it’s always a blast from the past. I basically grew up in here in a way. While I may not have been in there every week this was the place we went as a treat. Calzones are huge for the price so if you don’t eat a lot it’ll last you awhile.

The only real pizza place in Rocky Mount. All the rest are franchise chains..dominoes,hut, papa j, etc. Their pizza dough is very good, crust is crunchy but tender and not thick like the preformed cardboard type. I’m used to a calzone with mostly ricotta and some mozzerella, but they make it with straight mozzy. I’ll have to order it how I like it next time, otherwise very good.
