TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Amazing food every time I visit. This location is very big and always clean. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. The classic slider and tenders always hit the spot and the fries are always seasoned and cooked to perfection. Best chicken around!

Came here on there secret opening. It was a great experience. Clean, great staff, and fresh food. I have been going to the Dearborn location and this one is definitely an upgrade. The food was fresh and came out within 5-10 minutes. The customer service was awesome. The parking was more than enough. Really great location overall to dine in and I would definitely come here again! Would recommend this location 5/5 stars for me.

food was great but a corporation like this should have more workers. one lady handling the register, drinks, dining area, utensils is very unfair to her and the customers. we waited a while to order and she was overwhelmed. you can do better roark.

The Dave’s Hot Chicken in Dearborn made me fall in love with the food, and now I have a closer location to rave about. Today was their first day open and the food is just as good as the other location. They are quick with their orders, generally about 10-15 minute wait to get your food, they have music playing on their speakers at all times, and call out your order number over a microphone so you can hear it through the store. They have beautiful murals over the walls and everything is kept very clean. Would definitely recommend stopping here for food, its not too expensive, filling, simple, and easy to order.

I know some people really like chicken fillet. But this has many more options. First off yiur notice the color of the breaded Chicken. Its breading that fried is loaded with seasoning. Super crazy hot reaper pepper seasoning if you’re up to it.. A unique coleslaw and pickles. Their own unique dressing. Nkt just lettuce, onion, tomatoes we have come to expect. They also have a meal with 2 sandwiches for the men that can eat. That meal surprisingly only 14 bucks. Is it a little more for that sure. But its more than most can eat. Or at least be stuffed. Worth a try to say the least.

Omg fellow peeps, the word about this place is true!! Where do I start, came in to amazing team of workers who were super helpful to anyone who is ordering with children to a bunch of young adults. Their suggestions on different sauces to the slushies with ice cream was very nice of them. It is a little pricey but its so worth it, all the food I feel is made fresh to ordered, so its not sitting under the heat lamp for to long, we came when it wasn’t packed but when we were leaving it was getting busy and everyone who was working were on point, place was clean and stocked full a napkins because you will need them!! Will come again with more family to have them try it and be a fan like us, Sam is the best!!

Tried this place for the first time last night and really enjoyed the sliders. My husband had tried them from another location in the past and highly recommended them. We were delighted to discover that a location had opened nearby. And they did not disappoint! We got #2 combos, with medium spice level for both sliders and fries. It was a fair amount of heat, but we both think we might try the next level up next time. The chicken tenders on the sliders were huge, the meat was tender while the outside was still nice and crispy (even after the drive home), and the toppings and Dave’s sauce were the perfect complements.
We also tried the shakes (strawberry for him and fruity pebbles top-loaded strawberry shake for me). We thought they were also delicious but not something we had to get every time. (It might also have helped if we’d had them right away instead of waiting to drive home and eat our meals before trying them.)
I also got cheese sauce to dip my fries in, and it was a tasty and inexpensive add-on.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Dave’s Hot Chicken. Honestly, I’m already dreaming about my next slider!

food is always good, but i came here today and got the hot box tenders so 10 tenders and this is all the sauce they gave me.. this has to be a joke. the cup is 1/3 of the way filled. unacceptable. now we do not have enough sauce for the 10 tenders that we got. super disappointed in this place.

Staff is phenomenal, food is great. Only things that get it a 4* is occasionally I get a fatty tender or a tender with an actual tendon. However if you order with the app if you do the survey and tell them something went wrong they will give a free coupon for a tender/slider. Wait times used to be horrible but have gotten much better. Also, no drink with a $15 meal, but that’s not the locations fault. Good place for sure, catering is also great.
