I was so excited for some fried chicken. What I got was soggy, wet, oily, old chicken. No crunch, just squish and drip. I went inside the restaurant to place an order in person, however no one greeted me as I stood at the counter waiting very patiently. As I stood there a woman was able to get a workers attention about the Pepsi 0 being out of syrup the worker saw me and still chose to ignore my existence. The restaurant was not busy or full, there was maybe 3 party’s of people totaling 10 or less people in the lobby including myself. So I waited a few more minutes before deciding I’d go through the drive through and place my order since they want to only focus on the window and not the lobby. I ordered the 8 pc build a bucket and asked very politely if it was possible to get the bucket without drum sticks, just breast and thighs. I was told “we don’t have enough breasts for that”. So I said ok can you do like mostly thighs and like 2 breasts? The reply “unfortunately we don’t have enough chicken for that”. I said just do whatever you can do please. I also ordered the original honey barbecue chicken sandwich. The pictures don’t do these products justice. The chicken was just so disgusting. I’m appalled. How could anyone serve this to paying customers. Why not serve something to be proud of? Why not have fresh hot eye appealing chicken at every given moment? I mean it’s Kentucky Fried Chicken. The sandwich was soggy and just dripping with oil and God knows what else… it’s just disappointing and very sad. Ordered 2 sauces with the meal as well which didn’t get put into the bags, and the biscuits didn’t come with butter or honey and were not fresh by any mean. Come on.This was at 6pm today. I wasn’t given a receipt so I can’t give an exact time stamp but I’ve worked fast food and customer service, 6pm is a peak time and food should be hot fresh and abundant for consumers all choosing this specific establishment to feed to their selves and their families. “We don’t have enough chicken” should never be the answer, especially at that time of evening. I think this location needs to be retrained in customer service and greeting customers as they come in within the first 10 seconds. I believe the food we received was past its time on the timers to be thrown out. I’m extremely disappointed and wish I had chosen Bojangles over KFC. I will not be going back and I don’t recommend this place to anyone looking for fried chicken. Waste of money. I threw it all out. If I could give 0 stars and still warn everyone who’s reading reviews I would.

I’ve been here multiple times and both experiences were literally terrible. The food is gross and soggy, the customer service is slow, and the employees are rude. I’d imagine this starts at the top and that the manager is just as bad. Something needs to be done about this establishment. I’ve heard and experienced nothing but bad things.

Literally the worst kfc I’ve ever had in nc. The 8 fries I received was hard chicken greasy with mushy breading, mountain dew drink was foamy and powdery with white powder cake up in the bottom of cup and warm and warm at that ew! Plus no napkins given. I ate 1 chicken leg and threw the rest in garbage drink included. $10.66 threw down the drain and I was hungry on my lunch break. I could never do this to anyone, I mean look at the mountain dew soda

Blown away by the nugget….niblet meal. Hadn’t stopped by in a long time and thought I would see what was new at KFC in town. The nugget meal was more than my plate and my wife was so unhappy with her plate. She didn’t want to discuss the issue. The dime is for your reference.

The General Manager was extremely hateful to me when I called and complained about me not having my full order. I ordered two 8 piece tenders and I only got one of them but it only had 7 pieces in it. I asked how I could get a refund and she said that use the app and figure it out myself. I WILL NEVER EAT AT THE KFC IN HAVELOCK EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Had my roommate tell me that the chicken was really good and to leave a good review, and my roommate knows chicken, so that’s saying something. I also enjoyed it. The biscuits were nice too.
