We had bento sets and the flavours are on point, no nauseating sweetness or saltiness from unbalanced flavours, pad kee mao was spicy for 50% i did for a taste test but ill ramp it up to 100% next time. It was a whole flavour party and i bit into the chili, it was the real deal that’s sweet and gets really hot inside of your mouth instead of the biting feeling into the tongue.
Poh pia tod was a good bite with the spicy noodles while recovering from the heat, the sauce was refreshing and helps to dissipate the spiciness. My regret is not getting drinks, which would have added to the experience.
There was some waiting time but it makes sense as the foods are made to order, everything’s served freshly made.
I dont have issues with the place itself and i like that they have their own advertisement songs, which caught us off guard in a nice way and from that, i can tell that the owners put some heart into the store and i will definitely go back.
We also ordered Bento A1 with Pho Phia Tod with Original pad Thai and
Bento A2 with delicious Chicken Pad Thai
With Mango sticky rice.
Must try their Khao Kluk Kapi
Chicken for 129pesos! Definitely worth it! Highly recommended!!
WHAT I HAD:
Original Pad Thai. 4/10
Lasang pancit guisado, which I didn’t like. Not sure why, pero parang wala namang spice rito.
Gai Pad Gratiem (Garlic Pepper Chicken). 7/10
Expected more in terms of serving. Too much garlic—pwede namang bawasan.
Khao Niew & Ice Cream (Mango Ice Cream w/ Sticky Rice). 8/10
Too pricey. Mango tasted great tho—parang di mo malalasahan sa iba.
Yum Gai Tod (Fried Chicken with Thai Sour Salad Sauce). 8/10
Lasang chicken salad. The onions are 100%! Love the spiciness and its lemon-grass taste. Although I found myself drinking water after each scoop. Hope I toned down the spice level from 50% to just 25%.
Khao Kluk Kappi (Thai Bagoong Rice with Chicken). 9/10
Interesting taste! Lasang lutong bahay ‘yong kanin. Looks and tastes like a healthy meal. Presentation’s great. Was a quick meal.
Satay Gai (Chicken). 7/10
Sauce tasted like gata. Didn’t like the slight sourness of the chicken.
10/10 would come back. Only complaint is the state of the bathroom but aside from that, it’s
good. Everyone was so nice and amicable as well!
Cash/GCash only and you can also order party trays – which is how this food venture started.
They give you the option to adjust the spice level of your dishes, which feels like a clever spin on the milk tea concept.
Didn’t particularly like their som tum papaya salad, as the strips weren’t as finely chopped as in other Thai restaurants. But the Tom yum soup and fried rice was the saving grace for me.
