My wife, son, and I recently ventured into Picanha Brazilian Steakhouse, and we were pleasantly surprised by what we found. Going in with no real expectations, we were immediately struck by their fair prices, especially when compared to some of the pricier Brazilian steakhouses out there. You definitely get good value for your money here.
The stars of the show, as they should be at a steakhouse, were the cuts of meat. They were consistently good, offering a satisfying variety that had us all pointing our little cards in happy anticipation. We weren’t disappointed by the quality or flavor.
Now, the salad bar. While it’s true it’s not as expansive as some other places we’ve been, it was good enough. It had all the essentials and some fresh, tasty options to complement the meat. It served its purpose well.
The overall dining experience was great. The service was attentive, with the servers circulating regularly. However, we did experience one slight hiccup. Unfortunately, one of the servers, who seemed new to the job, accidentally dropped a piece of meat, and a bit of grease landed on my sweater. We’re hoping it comes out, but it was an understandable mishap.
Despite that one minor incident, we had a really enjoyable meal. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the quality of the food, especially the meats, was impressive for the price point.
Overall, we’ll definitely be coming back to Picanha Brazilian Steakhouse! It’s a solid choice for a delicious and well-priced Brazilian steakhouse experience.

This place was ok. The service was excellent I won’t deny that the waiter was good. But the food wasn’t properly cooked and had a weird after taste. I told them a little medium well or well done and they said the meat comes like that. I felt like that was not right you should accommodate the customer. Also the wings were cold rice was cold. They can do better!

We just had dinner on Sunday night and the bill was over $600 for party of 6 with 1 of the 6 being a child. Two adults had 2 drinks and four had 2 sodas each. We were good walking in knowing it could be close to that but we had expectations that it would be a good which wasn’t the case as it didn’t come close to delivering. We were told to start with the hot and cold salad bar which we did and within minutes of sitting down with that the servers were coming with the meat when clearly everyone was eating cold portions from the salad bar. It wasn’t an ‘experience’ which ended up a hundred a head. It was constant meat servers who didn’t care where anyone was at in their meal. It was more like a cafeteria with people serving food but being thrown off with a nice decor. They don’t know how to run a restaurant was the biggest take away. Given the pace of the waiters coming around with the meat one person said they were completely done in 20 minutes and the rest of the table all voiced how they felt the same. It felt like more of a place like a tacky all you can eat and where it’s more about quantity versus quality. I don’t do reviews but felt I had to because it was really that bad and I didn’t want anyone else walking away beyond disappointed especially when you are taking others out for a ‘good’ meal.

Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we sat down, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure our glasses were never empty.
The waiters constantly came around with a wide variety of perfectly cooked meats everything from juicy sirloin to tender lamb and crispy bacon-wrapped filet. The service was seamless, and they truly kept the meats coming around the clock.
I left extremely full and completely satisfied. If you’re a meat lover, this place is heaven on earth. Can’t wait to come back again easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time!

Had a very disappointing experience at this establishment last night. My family and I have been coming to Picanha at the Palisades Mall for YEARS, and prior to that, at the Texas de Brazil in that same location prior to the transition of ownership. Picanha is a “favorite” establishment and we frequent especially during special occasions. Last night was my niece’s 6th birthday, and she specifically asked for Picanha as where she would like her birthday dinner.
My sister walked in at 6:15pm asking for a seat for a table for 7 people. The manager, Ronaldo, said that because reservations weren’t made in advance and that it was a walk in he could not seat us until 8:00pm. My sister phoned me with this news, i was still on my way to the mall having made the trip from North Haven, CT for my niece. So, I came up with the idea that I will make a reservation online. I looked at the online booking on their website and there multiple reservations available to accommodate our party and so I chose 6:30pm. I even called the establishment to confirm the appointment, and the female hostess was able to confirm. I walked in at 6:25, the hostess acknowledged me and my family and was getting ready to seat us. But the manager, Ronaldo, saw my sister and my family and I said…”No, no, no, I told you guys you can’t come into 8:00pm”. And I said, but I made a reservation online? And he said “but I already told you you can’t.” Confused, I asked. There are multiple time slots available online, he said, word for word, “I recognize your faces. I already said I can’t seat you until 8”. We were upset, especially since his tone was very condescending and he was speaking to us rudely. Prolonging his syllables when we would try to speak to him and explain ourselves, not letting us speak and refusing to seat us as he is walking us towards the door in FRONT of my 6-year old niece and other customers in the establishment as we realize that we are now causing a scene.
We had no choice but to leave. My niece was tearful and said, I don’t want to come to Picanha anymore. “That man is so mean to my mommy”. Really, Ronaldo? On her 6th birthday, really? Thank you for ruining that night and her special day for us.
I don’t need any “apologies” or special treatment. I just felt that the situation could have been handled differently and professionally if the manager that they have on duty was professional himself. My family and I are respected healthcare providers and we are very mindful about being professional and respectful to others, it was very disappointing and shameful that this man chooses to condescend us as if we were criminals while we were just trying to have and enjoy a special occasion at what used to be our favorite establishment. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

We went there for Sunday lunch and had a wonderful time. The service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. The dishes were delicious, especially the selection of meats, and the prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be going back again.

I enjoyed this rodizio more than others I’ve tried, even in NYC. Although located in a mall, the atmosphere felt much more upscale and deserving of its own building. The food was delicious, and the service was incredibly warm and attentive. Our host, Angel, seemed to know exactly what I wanted before I even asked. The entire staff was incredibly professional, and I absolutely love this place!

The service was amazing! The food tastes incredible, especially if you enjoy a delicious variety of meats with your sides. They accommodated our family with ease and professionalism. I would recommend this place to everyone! My boyfriend’s birthday was a success, thanks to this steakhouse!
