It’s an okay bar, can be a fun vibe depending on the day and time. The drinks prices are fair and they have a decent seafood selection, but nothing fancy & mostly fried. The waitress and other workers here are friendly and provide quick service. I am a big fan of their Peanut Butter Banana Drink (bbc). Even if you don’t get a drink its definitely worth a stop to look.

We came here for lunch on a Monday in November. I saw this place listed in an article about St. John in a book titled “1000 Places to See Before You Die” so we made a point to stop in.
The place is tiny. They do have a window you can walk up to and order too. We sat at the bar. We had a couple drinks and shared conch fritters, shark bites and a side salad. The food was just ok for me. I preferred the shark bites over the conch fritters.
I’m giving an overall rating of 4 because of the atmosphere, the people and the bartender. It’s definitely island vibes in here. It’s laidback and casual. There is lots of memorabilia on the walls from a lot of US states and places. The other people in there were friendly and spirited. The bartender was personable and attentive.
Prices were good. I can’t tell you about parking – we took a taxi and were on foot.
Overall we had a good time.

If you are getting drunk, this could be good but unfortunately I wasn’t!
I was expecting better as a lot of people recommended it to me. Unfortunately, it is very mediocre bar food. Mediocre is probably too nice. Service was very good and friendly. I would go back here to try drinks and see if it’s worth it.

A must visit if you’re on Island. Stop by this super fun dive bar and order a Nutwhacker and Shark Bites. We come by at least 3-4 times per visit for happy hour and quick bite. Always a good time!

We cant say enough about Woodys. Its a great chill place or wide open in the evening. Great food (shark bites) great drinks and an awesome atmosphere. We always start our trip and end it at Woodys.

We had the best meal at Woody’s tonight. We caught some fish on a local charter and brought it to Woody’s. They did an unbelievable job with our fish. Incredibly reasonably priced as well. Best meal we’ve had on the island so far. The staff was also amazing, super fast and very attentive. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Great experience all around and they made us feel like we were at home. Well done Woody’s!

We had a blast hanging out at Woody’s! We sat outside and really enjoyed meeting all the local characters. While our food did take a while, the staff were incredibly attentive and sweet. Even though the food was just okay, the fantastic service more than made up for it!

Best fish tacos on the island! Shark bites and crab cake sliders were delicious too. Service was quick and food was delicious. Definitely worth checking out for a quick bite!
