The food was very tasty. Especially Panneer butter masala and daal makhani were really authentic Indian taste. The daal makhani was the winner. The rotis were also really soft and fluffy. My kids also loved Gobi and paneer butter makhani also. The owner is also very friendly and nice person. It was not crowded. If you love authentic punjabi or North Indian food this is the place to go.

My husband and I frequent this wonderful restaurant. We have tried several menu items and each new dish has been wonderful! The service is always top notch and it’s obvious the staff and owners really care about you having a great dining experience. Made a large order to go for our work team lunch. The staff/owner was very nice. I gave her a list and they even separated all the dishes and put names on them. It was ready on the time we agreed and even helped me put the food in my car. The food was delicious! Everyone loved it!

We love going here for their lunch specials. We always get tandoori chicken. It is so good! Very moist and flavorful, and served on a sizzling hot platter with onions. Also comes with rice, fried veggie appetizer, and yummy condiments. Very good

I drive from Shorewood at least once a month because this is THE best Indian restaurant in the area!!! Best consistency of flavor, best value and the best service. I have been going there since 2009 and once people follow my suggestion and try them, they continue to go back. I have friends who have moved away from the area, but always go back to Taj Mahal when they return to town to visit. I always get my options “to go” so I can have Indian food for every meal for a few days because it is that good!

Such delicious food ~ one of our favorites! I have a lifetime goal to try everything vegetarian on the menu. The Joint Chiropractic ♥️ is right up the road in the Pick N Save plaza, so we get to enjoy meals here often! Convenient location, just off the highway.

There are a few things to mention about this place. The dining area seemed to be pleasant and well-maintained. Service was friendly and efficient. Location, parking and price are fine. Some of the dishes were a bit too spicy hot 4 us. The yogurt was not to our liking. The spinach was overpowered with garlic. We feel the chai tea is too sweet. If these few small things were improved, could be worthy of four or five stars.
