The atmosphere here is warm and inviting, and the staff are genuinely friendly. I tried the Mayan breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions of avocado, which I absolutely loved. The pancakes were tasty and beautifully presented. The food is excellent for the price and I am definitely looking forward to my next visit.

Really cute place with friendly staff and amazing food. Menu has a great variety for both food and drink. Got the Tuxedo pancakes and corned beef hash, highly recommend. Breakfast burritos are huge, my boyfriend took 2 bites and told me it was the best breakfast burrito he’s ever had. Edit: heard coffee to go was a thing and asked up front went paying afterwards. It was on the house. 10/5 stars.

I thought sunrise social was OK. If you compare it to other breakfast spots in the area, I feel it is mediocre. The service was great from when we walked in the door until we left. Our waitress was attentive. The food was good and good quantity too, you can almost share a dish with 2 people depending on what you order. I got the egg white with portobello mushrooms. Thr mushrooms were huge and very flavorful. It was very filling too. The toast was hard like a crouton however. The latte was ok too. I did find a Hershey kiss wrapper in my water glass, kind of unusual since there was nothing that we had that had Hershey kisses. Lol. When I told the waitress, her look was just as priceless, like wth. So got me a new glass. They do have different flights to try for drinks, which I thought was fun. It’s a good place to eat.

*VEGETARIAN* Highly recommend this place. They have plenty of options that are clearly labeled vegetarian with a sign. My favorite is the portobello scrambler. Its a thick cut of portobello which is super juicy and has a rich flavor profile. Topped with egg whites and veggies, makes it a very unique dish that is very healthy and flavorful. This was the first time I have ever had something like this and I really liked it. If you like mushrooms, I would suggest going here just to try this, its fantastic. The carrot cakes are also very good, they are made with multigrain flour which gives them a nice rich taste and texture. They don’t serve real maple syrup which is a downer 🙁 wish they did. I’d give 4.5 stars for that but if I could but i decided to round up. The atmosphere is very nice, interactive, and well themed. Gives the place nice sunny vibes. Staff and waiters are friendly and service is good. Will definitely visit again!

I love their new location! We went there for breakfast and from the moment we walked in everyone was so nice!y 2 year old was not happy to have to sit in his booster seat and our waitress grabbed some toys they had for him to play with! She was so nice and attentive! My mom ordered her bacon and hash browns extra crispy and the waitress actually had the kitchen remake them before bringing them out because she thought they could be crispier! We can’t wait to go back and visit again soon!

Such great food and service! Zach was our server. Very attentive and nice. He did a great job. From the omelette to the french toast flight, everything was excellent. No left overs and no complaints!

We went here for the first time this morning as my wife wanted to try it.
Our waitress was pleasant, the atmosphere was light, it was fairly busy, but we were seated immediately (arrived around 10:15am).
They were playing music (seemed like classics from the 80’s and 90’s – can’t believe I’m saying that), loud enough to hear, but not too loud that you couldn’t have a normal conversation.
I haven’t seen it anywhere else around here, but they had a tea infuser pot, with no bag, which I appreciated (greatly reduces the potential of ingesting microplastics) and seemed unique. I had Green Tea.
I ordered the Sunrise Scrambler and subbed Cottage Cheese for the Toast or Pancakes/ Potatoes or Fruit. She ordered the California Crepes and Cobb Salad, as well as the Beet Blitz drink. Everything tasted good. My wife has been trying to find a place that beats Sweetberry Cafe’s (Elgin) Cali Crepe, and this one came close.
We did wait a little bit to order and waited a relatively normal amount of time for the food to arrive. We did not check/use the bathrooms, but the dining area appeared clean and tidy.
I would not be opposed to going here again if my wife wanted to.

Wanted to like this place more than I did, but was disappointed by both the service and the food. Had a “scramble” with hash browns and pancakes. The scramble itself was really tasty and filling, but the hash browns tasted of oil, and the pancakes were heavy and overcooked. My companions omelette she described as heavy, almost as if it had flour added, although we were assured that this was not the case.
We did mention this when paying, and they gave us a discount, which was good customer service, but we’d rather have paid full price for a better experience.

Terrific size portions here so bring an appetite. We had the breakfast burrito, a Santa Fe omelette and a skillet in our party, requiring boxes to take home enough for our next meal. Very friendly staff.
