I’ve been eating at anthonys pizza for a long time, the food has always been consistently good. I Usually order a pizza and a sub to share. Unfortunately tonight for a 11 dollar sub, I got the smallest steak and cheese I’ve ever ordered. Its basically a small loaf filled with lettuce, the meat was scarce and didn’t even seem enough for half of a sub. I told the counter staff I ordered the large size sub, and was thinking they made the half size. I was told this was a large size. After reading some recently posted reviews it seems to be a common complaint. Disappointing.

The food is good, but someone please tell me why there is a “service fee” AND a “delivery fee” PLUS you’re asking for a tip?!?! These fees are out of control. It’s wrong to gouge people all because they want the convenience of food delivery.

Service was good, food was fresh and made quickly, and the store was clean, but the pizza had no flavor. It was easily the blandest pizza and garlic knots we’ve ever eaten. It made me wish we had bought any frozen pizza instead.

Gave this place a 4 star rating before because their take out was cheap and not bad. Ordered a cheese steak and fries around 8:50, my cheese steak has this piece of metal in it. Lucky my teeth felt it before I tried to swallow. Don’t know if it was intentional or not but don’t know how this could get in my sub otherwise.

My family lives and has always lived in the area, Anthony’s is a local family favorite my family will continue to enjoy food from here. We ordered a large order today and got home to realize something was missing and long story short the manager at the Inwood location Ms. Donna was very human, humble, and relatable. She replaced the food and went the extra mile, She definitely will be seeing us again. Thanks

I got the gyro,it had little meat. I asked for extra sauce, got little of that also. My brother got a cheesecake that had very little steak. A very disappointing meal, Anthony’s used to be the go to place for subs and pizza.

Entire staff is rude. If you don’t want to work food service, find a new job in another industry. Zucchini fries were rubbery. Charged too much on cheese pizza, differently from listed price. Not sure how much longer they’re gonna stay in business if nobody is satisfied with their orders. Two times in a row of deplorable food. King’s is the way to go from now on, I think.

Anthony’s is my favorite kind of pizza other than Papa John’s.. the problem is Papa John’s is super expensive so we barely ever order it.. plus it’s not convenient to the location of our house. We always get pizzas on the Tuesday night deal when they are $7.99 because you can’t even get frozen pizzas that cheap anymore. I do add some seasonings when I get home but even if I don’t, they are still absolutely delicious.
