my favourite place in edinburgh, i’ve been here countless times. The food is amazing, fresh and served quick, staff is friendly and efficient, prices are such good value for the food you get, cheaper than most japanese restaurants in edinburgh id say, and so worth it. I don’t think i have anything bad to say about this place, anyone reading this should go try it. I’ll attach some of many food pictures i have from here- my favourite dishes are the seafood fried udon noodles, red dragon roll, and beef brisket ramen

Since I first visited this restaurant on January 24, 2024, it has become my favourite in Edinburgh. I can’t even remember how many times I’ve eaten there, and the food is always delicious and the portions are generous. Plus, they have specials almost every month. A huge thank you to the chefs and staff for their hard work. Be sure to try the king prawn tempura, I’ve never had anything like it anywhere else. I hope you add karaage chicken to your ramen, curry, and bowls in your restaurant menu

Great wee place, open late which was perfect for us getting through at 1030. Fantastic value for money. We got the £7.99 weekday deal which was chicken Katsu and Ramen on a Friday. We also both ordered a starter which we didn’t need, portions were huge. Really delicious.

A hidden gem in Edinburgh!
I honestly had better Japanese food here than I did during my recent trip to Japan. I stayed in Osaka for a week not long ago, and I left feeling a bit underwhelmed—only to be completely blown away in Edinburgh! I’ve already been here twice because everything was just that good.

Every dish was perfectly crafted and full of flavor. I came with a friend who lived in Japan for 10 years, and even they were incredibly impressed. We kept wondering: who is the chef behind this magic?

It’s hard to believe I found such an authentic and heartwarming Japanese meal in the UK. It truly felt like healing food. Edinburgh locals are lucky to have a place like this nearby.

We had the katsu ramen offer and it was absolutely delicious. My mother chose a bento box and really enjoyed hers as well.

The customer service was excellent. We asked for one glass of water and they kindly brought water for all of us without us even needing to ask — such a small detail, but it made a great impression. The staff also topped our hot water up in the teapot. Whenever we asked for anything, the staff were very helpful and attentive.

We enjoyed it so much that we chose to return the very next day for another meal. We tried some other bento boxes and sushi which were also great and tasty.

Very clean, tables were cleaned straight away and fast. Staffs all greet you when you arrive and when you leave. Very professional whoever managed them has clearly done a good job.

Highly recommended!

I didn’t expect much and oh my – I was so impressed. The food is delicious. We had sushi rolls – crazy salmon roll – simply yummy and I would definitely order again.

The staff is nice. This place is simple, no additional fluff – and it’s incredible.

Also it does look very authentically Japanese. Music, open kitchen with cooks, plastic models of dishes and even paying at the exit.

Prices are ok and food is definitely worth it.

The price was surprisingly cheap (Relatively, ofc) in comparison to other places. The food is yummy and full, my family of 3 cannot finish all three dishes, and the staff were nice to our requests! Definitely recommend!

First of all, five stars is so little for what this restaurant deserves. I’ve been wanting to go to this restaurant for over a year but I didn’t want to go alone, so my friend came to visit me and we went. When we got there, it was a little crowded, but what impressed me most was that we were treated very well right at the entrance. The guy at the cashier was very polite. The girl who served us was so loving, so attentive, so polite. And finally, the food, even though it was really crowded, the food was served so quickly that we were impressed. There’s a large quantity for the price. And my God, when we ate, it was wonderful, everything was wonderful. I will definitely come back and recommend it to all my friends.
