I’ve lived in South Salem for eight years now and by far my biggest regret is not going to Mina’s sooner. Not only is Mina’s the best Thai restaurant in Salem, but Mina’s has the best fried rice I’ve ever had. I usually prefer noodles but the fried rice was so delicious that I finished it before my chicken. And the chicken was incredible.
The Thai green tea and Thai iced tea are a must. Wonderfully strong brew that I find myself craving all the time. The mango with sticky rice was perfect. The rice had the perfect sticky texture and had a great balance of sweet with a bit of savory, and it worked so well with the very sweet mango. Probably my favorite dessert from here.
I have tried so much on the menu, and it’s all amazing. The wonton broth has such a deep flavor, and it’s perfect on cold days. The drunken noodles are PACKED with vegetables, and the noodles perfectly coated in sauce. The rice I would happily eat by the trough. And I love how balanced the spice level is when you ask for 3 out of 5.

you cant throw a baseball in this town without hitting an excellent thai restaurant. we finally made our first visit here because the new menu they released recently had so many items we had not seen anywhere else. everything we tried was fantastic and we definitely will be back to try many more dishes.

Friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes and choosing something new we would like. Food was pretty good and we enjoyed the drunken noodles the most. The restaurant has cute asian lighting which matches with a beautiful flower decor.

Best Thai food I’ve had in Salem. It is very tucked away and a little hard to find even though it is right off Commercial but worth the effort! Our waitress was so nice and welcoming even though we arrived one hour before closing. The decor is really cute and there were a lot of detailed that make the place aesthetically pleasing.
We had a hard time making choices because there is so much on the menu. I landed on a pumpkin curry with the sticky rice. The ingredients tasted so fresh and spicing was perfection. One of the best curries I’ve ever had. The sticky rice had a perfect texture. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful, delicious food. Nice peaceful setting in the restaurant. I could feel the peace and kindness when Mina greeted me and my grandchildren. There is something very special about her and the restaurant.

I cannot support this restaurant enough. Their food was delicious probably the best Thai food I’ve ever had. And they made my daughter feel so special for her birthday! The customer service was out of this world. We will absolutely be going back but if you’re looking for a meal or a location for a special event this is where you should go!!!!

Really great springs rolls and curry puffs. You can tell they are hand made, unlike a lot of local Thai restaurants. Dishes were delicious and flavorful. Will definitely order from here again.

Such an amazing restaurant! My partner and I have attempted to come every week since we first visited. We were absolutely blown away by the yellow curry and were ordering that for a while (can’t get tired of it!). I adventured out and tried the beef pho and also potstickers and wow!! This is the best pho I’ve had in Salem and the potstickers are perfectly most but also have a good sear on them.
The staff are also super friendly and they make their food fresh so it comes out as fast as they can make it (pretty quick considering the amazing quality of the food). We’re always in the clean-plate club unless we take home leftovers.
We also ordered on Doordash and that was a flawless experience for us.
Please do yourself a favor and come to Mina’s!
