Magnificent experience. Highly recommend for couples looking for a memorable night. The buffalo salad starter was nice it wasn’t ground breaking but well balanced. The truffle mushroom ravioli was the best very very well made and every element compliments the other beautifully. The steak main dish was so good and balanced too everything was cooked to perfection. Even though the mont blanc dessert keeps getting low ratings but honestly I enjoyed a lot personally. Maybe it is heavy after 3 courses but still the flavor was so good and it felt like an elevated black forest cake. 10/10 experience.

Not only is it located in one of the most exquisite and exclusive spots in Cairo right on the Nile, but it is also known for its outstanding quality of food and ambiance. Le Petit Chef was truly a magical experience — from the funny chef animations on the table to the food, everything was fantastic. It went beyond what words could possibly describe.

It was a fun and immersive experience. The food was amazing; you could taste the flavor and quality in every bite. My personal favourite was the starter salad — it was perfect. The steak was juicy and tender as well.

I strongly recommend that everyone experiences this at least once in their lifetime. It’s such a unique experience!

A good restaurant experience overall: solid food, fun entertainment, and decent service. Unfortunately, it was disrupted by a couple who arrived late, forcing a long pause in the four-course meal so they could “catch up.” Instead of eating, they chose to engage in a lengthy argument, showing zero consideration for the rest of the guests. The classic me-myself-and-I mindset—an unfortunate and growing lack of basic civility we’re seeing more and more.

The food was excellent and the portions were very generous , genuinely thought I’d still be hungry afterwards, but I wasn’t.

There was a bit of confusion on arrival as we weren’t asked who was having which menu before the dishes were served.

A short introduction at the start would also have helped, as I didn’t realise it was a competition until feedback was requested.

Couldn’t have asked to spend Valentine’s Day at a better place. The experience, the food, the service it was all spectacular. They even accommodated my boyfriend’s allergies and had no problem in alterations to make sure everyone is happy.

The food was pleasant. Although the portions were small, the number of courses fills you up significantly. The dessert, in particular, was very filling but maybe too much so. The salad was the most delicious, with a perfect balance to each ingredient. The ravioli was delicious but needed something extra to enhance the flavor, like another herb, and the steak was juicy and tender. My favorite was definitely the starter salad by Chef Maria. The atmosphere was intimate and romantic, suitable for anniversaries, double dates, and close friends.

Date night with my husband. Was an amazing atmosphere and fun experience. Watching the animated chefs cook each course on your table was cute! The food was delicious. We loved the buffalo cheese and tomato salad. The service was friendly from everyone and it was fun to vote and see who won at the end of the show.

The ravioli just needed something acidic to balance it, my steak was cooked to perfection.The dessert was really good but extremely heavy after the first 3 courses. my favorite was the salad -> steak -> ravioli -> dessert. Overall entertaining experience & attentive staff

Amazing experience at the Le Petit Chef. Fancy but not too fancy.

All the food tasted wonderful. Every dish was as good as the next. It was truly an exquisite experience.

The price was very cheap compared to other countries. We paid 2500 egp pr person.

The servers were not the best. Expected more for a four seasons restaurant. The servers would ask if you were done with your food, even tho you had placed your utensils in the finish position, had pushed the plate away and had completely finished your plate. Other times they would take your food while you were still eating. They just left a drinks menu on our table and never came to ask about it. They first asked and awkwardly removed the drinks card after the third course! And they were so bad at placing the utensils and the plates. The plates would be turned sideways or off center or something different between everyone eating every time. Which made it extra confusing for the video.
The servers would also place utensils randomly. They do not seem professional nor educated.

Worst of all! There was oftenly not enough time to enjoy your food! Me and my friend are fast eaters. But even for us there was barely enough time to finish our dishes. We were rushed and the next video started with people still eating and not ready to continue.

The restaurant itself is in the basement of the boat which seems a little weird. No water view or anything. It makes sense for the video since it’s a projector but still felt weird.

The food itself and the video saved this whole experience. The food was so great. Every single dish. However it did not feel very multi cultual as the 4 different ethinicity tiny chefs were supposed to simulate. For example; The desert being a chocolate mousse did not feel very japanese. The dish was amazing. But not very japanese.

There was a lot of children at the restaurant which was loud and ruined the experience a little.

The location was perfect. Near the center and close to the nile. Little tough to get to. We took an uber.

The overall experience was pleasant, and the staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. I truly appreciated the effort made to prepare a vegan option for me, even though it was not listed on the menu.

While the dishes were fine, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of creativity expected from a five-star restaurant. The vegan menu consisted of a simple mixed salad, pasta arrabbiata, ratatouille, and fruit for dessert. Although everything was well prepared, it felt quite basic, especially considering it was priced the same as the meat-based menu.

With the level of service and the restaurant’s reputation, I believe there is a great opportunity to elevate the vegan offering with more imaginative and refined dishes. Doing so would make the experience truly outstanding for all guests
