I was really looking forward to this but it was very very average. The 25.00 with 2 sides 12oz ribeye steak special was cooked perfectly but it was very very thin and more fat than meat. The cole slaw was definitely not fresh, had no crunch or flavor….25.00. my husband got the 2 piece catfish plate special for 15.00 and the fried green tomatoes were awesome. The fish was mushy and the hush puppy had a grease line half way thru. We spent 51. With tip and I will go back for lunch in a few months since they have only been open 2 months but they definitely need some work on getting the food good and right price.

Had a GREAT cheese burger! Also the Hot hamburger with mushrooms, cheese, and gravy is fantastic. They actually grilled the mushrooms (no one else does that)!
Went back again for lunch. Had the meatloaf plate, it was outstanding! See the picture I posted. Really good food!!

The food here is pretty good. The service and the staff, not so good. Poor management. Inconsistent hours. I keep trying to give this place my support, but it seems to be getting worse, not better.
Very odd behavior by the staff. Infants and other non staff behind counter in kitchen area. And beware the health department score in the 80s. My latest trip their was my last.

Worst biscuit I’ve ever had in my whole life. Waitress, super nice. Biscuit was wildly greasy and somehow cookie shaped…eggs just mediocre, bacon? Great. Sausage? Bad, too. Just some little frozen puck. Not much flavor. Coffee was fine enough, just Folgers Classic. Saw the can. Anyways, I suppose that’s just their breakfast menu, maybe lunch and dinner is better.

The food was genuinely enjoyable I loved my French toast, and my parents were happy with their burgers. Unfortunately, the overall experience was affected by the atmosphere and service.
From the moment we walked in, we felt out of place. The locals inside greeted us with wary, almost judgmental looks. No one welcomed us at the door, nor were we guided to a table. Once we sat down, our server offered no greeting, no smile just a cold, silent presence.
It was clear we weren’t from the area, and while no one asked, that fact seemed to shape how we were treated. The energy in the room was tense, and the service lacked any warmth or hospitality.
Great food can only go so far when the environment makes you feel like an outsider.

We started off with the Green Fried Tomatoes which were absolutely delicious! My only complaint as such would be they need to have small plates.l not bowls because you really can’t cut them up in a bowl with tearing them up! Also need to bring a knife with them. Some of the best I have ever had!
One grandson had the grilled cheese and fries! He loved the grilled cheese but didn’t care for the fries. He prefers skinny fries!
The rest of us had the Touchdown Cheese Burger which was also awesome with fries which would be better with some kind of seasoning on them. The service was great! Tea was a little bitter! All in all a really great meal! We will definitely go back!
