Social Profile:

By day, we’re a bright and bustling coffee house; by night, a warm and inviting wine house. Ivy is designed to feel like a little oasis in the city—lush with greenery, full of natural light, and endlessly welcoming. It’s a place where neighbors linger, conversations unfold naturally, and every plate is crafted with intention. And when evening arrives, our dinner service truly shines. The lights dim, the wine opens up, and the café transforms into a cozy, intimate space perfect for unwinding. Our menu features fresh, seasonal dishes that balance comfort with creativity—vibrant salads, shareable small plates, heartier entrées, and thoughtful touches that make each meal feel special.

First time at Ivy Café in Clayton and WOW—what a hidden gem! This cozy, cute spot blew us away with their massive menu lineup: morning, afternoon, evening options, plus separate coffee, libations, and wine-by-the-glass lists. We had NO idea they serve dinner too!
I sipped on a gorgeous Pink Dragonfruit Matcha while Scott went for the Lavender Honey Latte—both so dreamy ☕ For food, I devoured the Buckingham Tartine (avocado, feta, pomegranate… perfection), and Scott loved his three-cheese grilled cheese with tomato soup
The real shocker? They have FIFTEEN different tartine options on the menu!! Count ‘em—15! I’m already plotting my return to try them all.
Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you’re in the Clayton area, add Ivy Café to your list ASAP—you won’t be disappointed!

I came here to try the coffee and the tartine before a show so I was glad that they still served coffee past 2PM.

I ordered the Evergreen which is with avocado and watermelon radish, it was okay, a little on the pricier side for avocado toast.

I enjoyed the coffee though!

Service was good, staff was nice and friendly and the dish and drinks came out fairly quickly.

I would probably come back and try other dishes next time.

I came here with a friend who works in the horticulture field because I knew she would love all the plants (even in the restrooms), but the food blew our minds. I had no idea what a tartine was, but then I couldn’t choose if I wanted a savory or sweet one for breakfast. We came in right at 8 on a Saturday when the streets of Clayton were still quiet. We were seated right away and stayed a little over an hour. I’d like to come back and try their afternoon and evening menu, but the breakfast menu also had a lot to offer.

Perfect cafe’ around the corner vibes (but worth a drive too)! Breakfast or brunch is a must here. And be sure you have enough time to enjoy the ambiance, although you can always pop in for a to-go latte. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

One of the most beautiful and cozy brunch and dinner spots. Went twice, once for Clayton Restaurant week and again for brunch with the girls! The food blew me away both times, the presentation was so prettyyy. They were able to accommodate our larger group and we are so grateful for the magical morning and yummy brunch ♥️✨

Ivy Cafe was the perfect place to do Galentine’s with my girlfriends! They are known for tartines, which is basically an open sandwich pictured here but they have regular dishes too from breakfast platters to pasta. Everyone loved their dishes. My pistachio mocha latte was also superb! Service was great. Will definitely be back!

We were driving home from out of state and found this upscale cafe. I’m so glad we came here! The food selections are amazing, healthier options and unique! There is an abundance of coffees and wines. The hostess who seated us went well and above expectations for friendliness and was very informative about their menu options and made great recommendations. Her customer service was outstanding and wonderful to have since customer service is rare these days. All the waiters tag team their table service and they were all very helpful, friendly and spot on. The food was excellent. We had the tartines and tomato soup and lattes. We will definitely be coming back!!

Ivy Cafe has become a regular weekly stop! Their lattes are amazing, with awesome seasonal specials (and the coffee cubes a must), plus I never leave without a muffin or almond cookie when ordering from the bar/counter. The atmosphere when you walk in immediately invites you to stay and is super cozy, great for when you want a place to work outside of the office or are catching up with a friend. The team is always super friendly and the food is always delicious!

The food here is great! I am not vegan but ordered a spectacular vegan dish (accidentally). It was a delicious grain bowl with a meat substitute and I didn’t realize that’s what it was. Our table shared a butter board that was a bit overpriced but still tasty. We had to request extra bread. Our drinks were not hot enough (matcha and a latte), like they may have sat too long before serving, but the server was nice and they were very busy. The hostess was great.

We will go back for sure!

I will start by saying all the staff is extremely kind and professional. I came in on a packed morning and they still were all so kind to me. I did not dine in as I just wanted a matcha to go. I ordered a green matcha with oatmilk and lavender honey syrup , and a brioche cream cheese bun . I believe my total was 14.45$ for the two things. I will start by saying, WOW- that little cream cheese bun was DELICIOUS, and I ate it so fast I couldn’t take a picture! The matcha latte was also delicious, but I must admit it was very strong- which is not a bad thing! I’m sure if I was still in the shop when I drank it I could’ve asked for a little extra milk, but I had already gotten home, so I topped it off myself.
I cannot speak for their various lunch or evening menu items, but I will say the experience with what I got was delicious, and everything I saw on everyone’s plates was beautifully presented.
