This place was a last minute thought and we were not disappointed!
Stopped for petrol right next door to this place and we were very hungry after our MTB ride. Searched food around us and this place popped up. Enough parking in front, it’s in a strip plaza. It’s really nicely decorated, simple and stunning. It wasn’t very busy. Not a very big place, enough seating for at least 20 people, maybe more. Not ideal for large parties. Our waiter/bartender/cashier (that one guy did everything!) was so pleasant and hustled around in no time at all to serve everyone. He always had a smile on his face despite how busy he was.
We ordered 2 different hamburgers and oh my gosh were they good! Don’t be afraid of that garlic sauce, it’s not overly garlicky at all 🙂 The hamburgers were cooked to perfection and all the toppings were delicious! Bravo to the chef! Everything was reasonably priced.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will be back when we’re in the area and try some of the Colombian treats.

Coming back from outside if the country vacation needed local latino food and found this place hidden advocating. Great Colombian Venezuelan food and price very affordable based on some others we have been too before on the area. FOOD was excellent.

I’ve been here several times for their delicious carne empanadas but today disappointed me. I placed a pick up order for 6 beef empanadas but only received 3 beef and the rest were pork… then as I was eating there wad a hair cooked into the empanada. I called to see what we could do about the situation and did not receive an apology, explanation, and a reply to my question of if they were made in the store were not given. Then the employee hung up on me. I loved their empanadas for the taste, sauces, and affordability but this was very disheartening

Don’t let the outward appearance keep you from visiting this place! The food was delicious and the menu looked great! I ordered a burger since we were about to travel to Central FL, and I wasn’t in the brave sorts to order anything with beans and rice. But if their food is anything like that burger, I’ll be back for more! The seasoning on the burger was SO delicious!! It was cooked to perfection and was soft and juicy and fresh tasting! The “pink” sauce on it was delicious! Even my mom’s hot dog was amazing! The service was great, and even the environment felt like a comfortable mom and pop restaurant. We got the special deal and with 2 drinks, 2 basket of fries, burger and hot dog, the entire meal cost right around $20 before tip! By far, way better than a fast food $10 meal! Before you head north on Alligator Alley, stop here and grab a quick bite to enjoy. The entire trip was great because I was still full and satisfied from the food!

Las Rikuras De Weston is a hidden gem with a fantastic vibe! Came here with my coworkers for lunch break. The food is amazing – I had the whole fried snapper with sweet plantains, and it was incredibly flavorful and a great portion for the price. The restaurant gets really cold, so being a sweater.
However, the service could use some improvement. Our server wasn’t very attentive and didn’t go over the menu or understand menu-related questions well, likely because he only spoke Spanish. Additionally, we had some issues with the payment process. We were splitting the bill across four separate checks, with one using Apple Pay. Unfortunately, the server wasn’t paying attention and ended up charging the total amount to three cards without asking.
Despite these hiccups, the overall experience was positive thanks to the delicious food and inviting atmosphere. Just be sure to double-check your bill if you’re splitting it.

I enjoyed and excellent expresso to start the meal. For my entree I got the fried mojarra with rice salad and sweet plantain. This was excellent as well. If you’re headed up north on 75 I would recommend grabbing a great meal here before going up alligator alley where choices are slim.

I have been a regular customer of this restaurant for the past 4+ years. In general the food was very good when we started ordering here, and the service was as expected. However, in the last years this place is losing its touch. Not only the food is getting worse and worse, but the service is the worst. Just today, I ordered a “parrillada de carne” for taking out. When I arrived home, there was not beef (carne). I called immediately to report the problem. Even though they gave me the beef, they made me feel like I was stealing from them because according to them they put the meat in. Look your recording, guys! Looking forward for a genuine apology. On the other hand, as you can see in the pictures confirming the lack of beef plus the arepa was all burnt, yellow potatoes were rancid. At the end only the beef was very good.

This is such a hidden gem! We stopped for gas after leaving Miami and did a search for restaurants. Las Rikuras De Weston was literally next door. The food was absolutely delicious! We had tamales, pork chop, empanada and Arepa. Had enough for dinner as well. Definitely owe it to your stomach to eat here!
