From the moment I walked in, Mohammad greeted me with warmth and genuine hospitality. The QR code ordering made things easy and relaxed. I got the mini mixed grill — the rice was soft and flavorful, and the meat tender and well seasoned. A simple, delicious, and welcoming experience.

I’ve been having Tarboosh for a while. The father who owns the business is always kind and hospitality was always great coming in. When it comes to the food and service I feel the quality has changed. I always usually get the same order, and have the same request for extra white onions with sumac or no pickle for my husband, and get lemon mint drinks. Usually, they would make FRESH lemon mints but then went to using a machine to make the lemon mints which just tasted artificial, and usually when me and my husband will go as of recent we’ve been able to get the fresh kind of recently and it’s delicious.. but they never seem to accommodate when the customer is unsatisfied. I placed an online order for delivery and requested lemon mints and a chicken gyro platter and my special request for the onions and the chicken to be cooked with onions as well. They missed it completely but didn’t care to accommodate for it.. then drowned white sauce all over the chicken gyro platter to the point of it being inedible it was horrible!!! Then the delivery driver brings the food without the drinks and doesn’t even say why. We had to call the store for them to say they didn’t have it and refunded. Which yet I have yet to receive… it’s not worth it to even continue going back and forth about the food or the refund. At this point, I just have to come to terms with how my experience feels now. The quality and care just does not feel the same.

I would definitely get delivery for this place next time. You’ll have to order electronically either way: no servers take your order. The place is fine for a quick lunch, but for the price I expect a little more charm

Amazing Egyptian food! The koshari was absolutely delicious, and the lamb kebab and lamb kofta were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Even the burger was outstanding! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. I hadn’t had koshari in 8 years and really missed it—so happy to finally enjoy it again in America! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Egyptian cuisine

If you’re in the mood for some really delicious Labenese food, this place has you covered! With a menu featuring meat and vegetarian options, you’re bound to find something you’ll like. (Bonus, this restaurant also doubles as a burger place, but I haven’t tried the burgers yet).
I shared an appetizer platter which had some delicious offerings (the kibbeh were so good!), and enjoyed some juicy, well seasoned lamb shawarma with fries, and washed it all down with one of their strawberry lemonades, which was sweet but not overbearing, and perfectly refreshing.
Overall, excellent food, and not a bad price. Two entrees, the appetizer platter, two lemonades, and one of their Dubai chocolate bars came out to around $70 (including tip). I’d definitely come back, and really wanna try their burgers!
