Best tacos I’ve had in a LOOOONG TIME!! We live in Port St John and will come here to the beach to look for shells and play, and end the trip with Tacos from now on. Well worth the 45 minute drive. The ice cream was great too. But them tacos❤️❤️❤️

My husband and I enjoyed our meal at Izzy’s Island. Casual atmosphere, quick service. We had the 2 taco special that came with rice and black beans and a generous portion of lime slices for extra flavor. I especially enjoyed trying 2 different tacos. I had the Hawaiian shrimp and chicken with flour tacos. Very flavorful. Portions were perfect for us.

cute place, went with my friends to try out something new while at the beach. it wasn’t bad enough to where we spit our food out, but we are not satisfied. portions were very small for the cost, water cups came out after our food did, tacos were plain, nachos were soggy and the beef on them was grey. not THE worst place ever but close to it.

Nice little place to stop to get a good meal. Some indoor seating but mostly outdoor. Fresh delicious food and a really wide menu to please all. Amazing tacos in all kinds of varieties: pictured are an American, Greek, and Hawaiian taco. They are also able to make decent fries, which is a plus. Reasonable prices and everyone leaves happy.

We decided to stop here for lunch on the way down to Miami and enjoyed the tacos. Great flavor and portion! We tried 3 different tacos each. My favorite was the street chicken and my husband’s was the steak.

We have stopped by here about half a dozen times in the past few years and always enjoy the experience. Haven’t had the tacos yet but the ice cream and the service is always top notch!
My daughter highly recommends the hot fudge sundae and I always enjoy trying one of the different flavors of the day. The portions are generous, so be prepared to split one and share with a friend.

Delicious ice cream, better than factory made!
They tell us they make the over cream in house and it was delicious.
I had the “Gelati” — a swirl of Strawberry Dole Whip and Vanilla soft serve. It was a fantastically light and refreshing dessert.
The Rocky Road was phenomenal, and we had two orders of Cookie Monster, a fun blue cookie dough ice cream.
The mint chocolate chip was also delicious, but the kids HATED the cookie dough bites.
We’ll be back!

I ordered at total of 18 tacos was over charged for another taco and fries. The girl that took the ordered obviously can not count 18 @ 10.75 plus her attitude. I have 3 different receipts with different amounts and when we received the food there were still tacos missing. Right after we ordered the rest of our party ordered 18 more tacos with different totals. Rude service plus the missing tacos plus the overcharge does not equal we will recommend check your receipts and food prior to leaving!

This is my favorite spot for lunch in NSB. It’s family owned and ran and they care about their regulars. $5 beers and food’s not over priced. Great authentic tacos and food and that’s coming from a Hispanic. So much of the menu is made from scratch like their ice cream. The hot sauce they make is the best I buy it by the bottle. Izzys Island is a true gem of New Smyrna Beach, serving up unique specialty tacos that are both sweet and savory. I tried the Hawaiian BBQ shrimp and bang shrimp tacos — both were bursting with flavor. The salted caramel ice cream was the perfect finish. I can’t wait to come back. This spot brings an island twist to NSB you won’t want to miss.
