Went on a Friday night for an early dinner, no wonder this place gets such brilliant write ups!
The bar was jumping, not overly busy so that it felt uncomfortable, more of a great Buzz about the place.
The Team I encountered were extremely helpful especially as I had my 6 month puppy with me. We decided to eat outside so as to catch the early autumnal evening air. The beer garden was clean and tidy, not the usual summers over forgotten about space. The waitress lent my a blanket as it wasnt as warm as it looked (great touch thank you)
As for the food let’s just say I like a burger, and I can honestly say the New Inns was the best burger I can remember eating. I had to use my knife and fork to eat as there was no way even my large mouth was going to get around it.

Just had lunch sat in the beer garden in warm sunshine – at last! Ate from the light bites menu which was more than enough. Roasted onion soup with toasted sourdough, crispy chicken tandoori and chunky chips between two people. Very, very good food. Friendly attentive staff serving excellent well kept Butty Bach and Shropshire Gold ales. All we can hear are the sounds of birdsong and the church bell in the beer garden. Bliss.

Fabulous meal this evening, booked a table online last minute and were chuffed we could get in! Food choice was excellent with a standard, Christmas menu and specials – the team catered so well for my intolerances and allergies (sorry for being such a pain!!) Service was excellent, the team were so professional, happy and attentive. The Rum Baba pudding was exceptional!! We will definitely be back – thank you and have a good Christmas 🙂

We visited The New Inn tonight whilst stopping in the area. What a place! The food was amazing along with the local drinks. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere and perfect place for a bite to eat. Dog friendly in the bar area also which was one of the reasons we visited. Highly recommend the beef wellington, it really was superb.

What a brilliant little find while out on the bike. Phoned ahead and they stayed open for an extra 30 mins to allow us to get there.
Food did not disappoint.. Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection.
