Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous. The decor takes you in, feels like a Japanese restaurant tucked away and cozy. Beautiful wood work and decorative. The service was 10/10. Prompt, great conversation, attentive and informative. Food was delicious, interesting and plenty to choose from. I particularly enjoyed their different ways to eat rolls and appetizers. The specials were fantastic and the soups brothy and delicious. Eat here as often as possible and twice on Sunday.

As great as it gets local sushi at affordable prices. Good clean taste with nice touches of flavor that excite the palette. I got a crazy monkey roll and some chefs nigiri that was perfect for my refined taste. I ended the night with halibut nigiri (shown here) and walked out happy

Good food however one of our tempura sauces had a broken top which caused it to leak all over the tempura resulting in soggy food. Dishes need more or larger containers of sauces to accompany food. Not enough sauce for katsu chicken.

This is one of the places that I’ve been supporting through COVID. The quality of food is always great, despite the supply chain issues. The bento box is the best deal, but I find the nuances, are more important – like the toasted rice in the green tea or the ogo seaweed.

I recommend the spicy cucumbers, the tsukemono and the tataki nigiri.

Don’t trust their opening hours. It says 5 PM on their website and on the front door. But I went at 5:05 PM after walking a mile and a half to get here and they’re closed. So I can’t really rate the food but I can rate their understanding of time. It’s off.

I had the Tonkatsu bento Box. Probably the best tonkatsu I can remember having. Also had the house sale and was well worth the price. Service was standard and the restaurant dining room was well decorated, but cramped.

Food made with quality ingredients. Sushi was the absolute best. Two off menu requests……granted by this wonderful women. The ginger was delicious, you could tell it was high quality. All the fish was fresh and the tempura light and crispy. Tasted lotus root for the first time (tempura,) it was different, but pleasant. Not really for taste, but lots of texture. Nice dinner for my niece who turned 21 today. 5 people $200 bill. Not to mention the off menu dish, and the surprise caramel fudge cheesecake. It was off menu too, so don’t bother asking! Lion King good, and sashimi fresh and light. Go visit, good food, committed to family style service. Thank you Susie, we will all be back.

Hubby and I came in for lunch for the first time in a few years today, and it was BAD y’all. The place was super dirty!!! There was a loudly sticky floor in the front entry, and there was food all over the floor in the dining room….like, rice & bits of food around literally every table in view. There is some sort of white, plastic siding on all of the walls that was covered in grime; it appeared to be a combination of sauces and potentially kids wet/sticky finger smudges? BLECH. Also, the random hip hop music was loud and distracting…no chill here. Lastly, the food preparation felt rushed & lazy. The rolls were super loose, and we could smell the tuna before it even hit our table. In a weird first, the seaweed used to wrap the inside of the rolls was SUPER CHEWY, so much so that it was hard to chew & swallow. And the texture of the fish could best be described as warm and mushy, the strong smell was also pretty suspect. Super bummed at the quality, and at $75 w/o drinks or tip, we expected more. We won’t be back.
