One of my Korean Chinese restaurants that happens to be in Duluth, GA. Always fast service and good quality and great portion size.
Today we ordered 지옥짬뽕 spice level two which was not bad with 짜장면 and an ice cold Korean beer.
Lots of tasty seafood in the jipk zzamppong.

I have enjoyed Jjamppong from Jjamppong Jijeon since I was living in Korea, and after moving to Atlanta, I have made it a point to eat a bowl of jjamppong here every time I shop at H Mart. It is a dish I like enough to usually finish all of the soup as well.

However, during my visit yesterday, I had a disappointing experience. While I was about halfway through my jjamppong, I noticed a strange string-like object in the soup. When I took it out, it looked like what is shown in the photo. I asked a staff member about it, and a male employee told me that it came from a mussel and that it was safe to eat, then walked away. Personally, it did not look edible to me at all, so I stopped eating, paid, and left.

In addition, the same male employee took my order initially. Even though I was the only customer in the dining area, the food did not come out for over 20 minutes. When I asked again, the food was brought out about five minutes later.

Because I like jjamppong and have visited this restaurant regularly, this experience was especially disappointing. Going forward, I will reconsider dining here if that employee is responsible for serving.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Zampong Zizon in Duluth. The food was absolutely delicious — rich flavors and comforting dishes that hit the spot. What made our visit even more special was the incredible kindness of the staff, especially one of the ladies working there. She went out of her way to make sure our daughters were happy and enjoyed their meal, offering extra help and warm attention that truly touched us. Despite arriving quite late, we were warmly welcomed and never felt rushed. We truly appreciated the hospitality and will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic and heartwarming Korean food!

The food tasted great. The $9.99 jjajangmyeon and jjampong lunch special were great value; the $32.99 “choice 2” menu, while delicious, was quite steep for the amount of food.

Service while eating was fine, but the employee made a point of insisting that the minimum tip was 18% (we were a party of 3) when giving the check and adopted a rather impolite and dismissive tone when we pointed out that it was perhaps not the most professional to make such a comment.

The jjajang myeon was delicious and surprisingly came with a little quail egg. Be aware the spicy levels are serious!! The sweet and spicy pork was crispy and hot. Everything came out super quick and the service was great! I will definitely be returning.

Overall, I had a satisfying meal, but it wasn’t what I expected. All the noodles were cold and didn’t go well with the sauce. The Jjajangmyeon was cold! The Jjamppong was good because it had a lot of seafood, but the noodles were cold, so it didn’t taste good. The Tangsuyuk was overcooked, but it was delicious!

We didn’t get any service other than ordering. The servers are too dark. It doesn’t fit with the atmosphere of the store.

The owner is kind !!!!

Very delicious korean food with many levels of spiciness. A warning, the chili in Zampong is very spicy but I can handle that which turns out very delicious for me. The service was also nice. We came back to eat here many times and have to order deep fried pork with sauce ( Tangsuyuk) all the time which was my favourite dish. They provide us small plastic apron which is cute.

I had heard about a restaurant specializing in jjamppong, so I wanted to come and try. When I went into the restaurant and looked at the menus, it was a Korean-style Chinese restaurant.
Ordered Special Spicy Seafood noodles (special samseon jjamppong) and waited for about 5 minutes, so it came out. I felt good because it came out faster than I expected.

As you can see in my pictures, it looks a great jjamppong with a lot of seafood. First, once the soup… and then vegetables and seafood one by one… Finally, a chopstick of noodles… I tasted it one after the other.

The Jjamppong soup had a sweet and warm taste as a whole, and finally it had a slightly spicy taste. I didn’t control the spicy level when I ordered it, so it was a little lighter for me who liked spicy taste. I thought it would be good to order it with a higher spicy level next time.

Vegetables and seafood are disappointing. Jjamppong is made of soup with vegetables and seafoods. The soup should be boiled with vegetables and seafoods. However, it was a pity that the soup wasn’t made with vegetables and seafoods. It was a pity that the vegetables and seafood didn’t contain any taste like jjamppong at all. In particular, the crab leg was undercooked, so I didn’t feel like eating it.
Based on the seafoods, I think seafoods were boiling separately in the fresh water and placed as a decoration on the top of the bowl containing jjamppong noodles and soup. Maybe it seemed to be done like this in the kitchen to make it quickly when the order came in, but it had the advantage of shortening the preparation time, but it was a pity that they gave up the taste of the food.

In the restaurant, there are people who just come in to sell something to customers. The waitress told me they are pitiful and, so can’t prevent them to sell. However, I want the restaurant to know that it’s unpleasant from the point of view of the customers who come into the restaurant and pay to eat their meals.

I will try other meals at this restaurant next time because there are many different meals available. However, it is not a jjamppong-specializing restaurant but maybe ordinary Korean-styled Chinese restaurant.

I was craving Jjamppong and this place hit the spot! This restaurant has both Korean and Chinese cuisine. The portion sizes are pretty good and the flavor is amazing! We ordered general chicken and it was juicy, crispy, and flavorful. The Jjamppong to me was not as bitter as traditional black bean noodle, but it was still delicious as well as the spicy seafood noodle soup! The seafood noodle soup had a spicy rich broth with plenty of seafood (shrimp, mussels, scallop, and squid) and chewy noodles.
