We were seated fairly quickly, but unfortunately, after being seated it took almost 10 minutes for our server to come back to offer drinks or check if we were ready to order. What made it more frustrating was that about five minutes after we were seated, the table across from us was seated and had their order taken almost immediately.
Once we were finally helped, we ordered:
Pad Woon Sen (glass noodles with chicken, bok choy, carrot, white onion, green onion, mushroom, and egg — I added shrimp)
Nutty Chicken (crispy chicken with cashew nuts, bell peppers, onions, and dried chili in a roasted chili sauce)
Avocado Roll (avocado, spring mix, basil leaves, and cucumber wrapped in rice paper; vegetarian and gluten-free)
The Pad Woon Sen was good overall, but it would have been better if the shrimp and chicken were seasoned the same way as the rest of the dish. The Nutty Chicken was very good — well seasoned and full of flavor.
My favorite item of the meal was the Avocado Rolls. Simple, fresh, and full of flavor — absolutely delicious.
Despite the slow start with service, the food itself was solid, and I’d still consider coming back, especially for the Avocado Rolls.
Food excellent. Calamari with that sauce. Chefs kiss. Colossal crab fried rice. Yellow curry!
Thai tea amazing. The popsicle!!!
Vibe vintage.
Service awesome.
We will return. There’s other things to try.
What really stood out to me, beyond the food, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, which made the meal feel even more enjoyable. The interior of the restaurant is also worth mentioning – it’s playfully and thoughtfully decorated, creating a friendly and welcoming vibe.
Overall, I’d recommend it for the food and especially for the atmosphere and service.
The menu clearly labels which items are gluten free. Certain dishes not labeled GF can be modified upon request. The waiter was knowledgeable about celiacs and confirmed the kitchen can take steps to avoid contamination (gloves/tool swap). Fryer is not dedicated GF.
And the food was delicious! I had the Tom Yum (extra spicy) and the colossal crab meat Pad Thai. The crab meat was succulently sweet and big chunks of meat. The Tom Yum had so much seafood in it. Big scallops and big muscles. The spice level was perfect. Very hot and not excruciating. My sister ordered the Papaya Salad (delicious) and the spicy pad Thai (also delicious).
I am very sensitive celiac and I felt fine afterward. The Thai iced tea also comes with a frozen Thai Tea popsicle sticking out of it.
Bbq beef, yellow curry with tofu, avocado rolls, and edamame.
Prepared quickly, delivered expediently, and beyond tasty!
