The staff were being dismissive of the customers, nobody was paying attention, and they were even making fun of those who were waiting. I saw the girl making jokes and laughing at the people who were waiting. I’m never going back. Respect and good manners are something everyone likes and deserves. They still have a lot to learn. The meal became terrible after that.

Ive been coming to Momos for about a decade and it’s just as good now as it always has been. The atmosphere is charming, my serves are pleasant and professional, and it’s the best sushi in the area. Anytime I need to take somewhere date, Momos is my first thought

Been there twice within the same week and had a good experience. The staff is friendly and provide good service. The sushi has by far been the freshest I have had close to the New Haven and Orange area. The resturant is also very cozy and clean. The bathrooms are single stalled, but they’re nice and clean.
The rolls are smaller than some other resturants, but they’re not too expensive with specialty rolls ranging from $10-12 and regular rolls under $10. Really enjoyed the Golden Dragon Roll, Spider roll, and in general all the other rolls. We ordered over 6 rolls in both visits, so it was hard to remember all the rolls. Had their fried tempura ice cream and it was just ok. They lit it on fire for me, but it was unimpressive since it was colorless. It would have been better if they burned a drink that turned blue like rum.
Will definately come again to check out lunch specials.

ONLY GOOD FOR SUSHI
After falling in love with their sushi years ago I decided to branch out and try their ramen and sea bass. The sea bass really had no other flavor besides sweet and it doesn’t come with rice, so I paid $17 for the small sliver pictured. The ramen was LAUGHABLE. It’s literally a 99 cent pack of ramen from the dollar store in mild broth swimming with 3 carrots and 4 spinach leaves. By far the worst ramen I’ve ever had. BEYOND disappointing and infuriating.

MoMo was a great place to go both for fish and vegetarian sushi. Their sushi is the best vegetarian sushi I’ve ever had. It was creative and delicious; definitely not an afterthought. I especially enjoyed the vegetable roll and spicy tomato roll.

Finally found a really good sushi place in Connecticut, specifically the New Haven area. We started with the Kani salad which was prepared and tasted very well. The sashimi lunch was fresh, thick cuts of fish, buttery soft, and melted in my mouth. The salmon skin handrolls were roasted just right. For dessert, the ikura was briny and the perfect way to end the meal.

This unassuming joint in a strip mall was a great place for some quality food and sushi options. Quick attentive wait staff and a lovely 3 rolls for $12.50 lunch special left my belly full but not stuffed.
I got the yellow tail, spicy tuna and avocado peanut rolls. The salad came with the meal and tea was $2.50.
Again most would drive right past, but stop by, have a beer or scorpion bowl and some good conversation.
