I got the breakfast bowl- and it was amazing! We visited for brunch and although the weather outside was cold, we also got to see a cat as we finished ordering. He gets fed by the place, so she is taken care of. The bowls short ribs were amazing, only one piece had a little fat, and it came with 3 eggs (!) not just two like I expected. The combo of peppers and potatoes and everything was amazing. Definitely will be visiting again.

The ambience was really pretty! I got the three tacos, with carne asada, carnitas, and Al pastor! Lowkey, I only liked the carne asada but I think I just ordered wrong because I didn’t even know what Al pastor or carnitas was made of. But the carne asada was fire. The rice and beans on the side were kinda dry. But the service was super good!

This place has unfortunately gone downhill. We drove out of the way to go here because we fell in love with their al pastor tacos, but unfortunately they no longer serve that menu item. I ordered a pina colada, they were out of that and a whole list of other things that were still on their menu. We ordered guacamole for an appetizer, and verified the order, it did not come out until we asked about it 20 minutes later. Service was extremely slow and inattentive, and the restaurant was not busy. We also had to go find our server to pay our bill because no one ever came back to our table when we were finished eating.

We’ve been here several times and the food and service have been good. The wait staffs have been attentive and checked on us quite often. They have a good variety of dishes to select from and special menu when we were there most recently. Outdoor seating is available and highly recommended on a nice day.

Loved the food, Loved the ambiance – found plenty of parking for a Saturday afternoon. They did not have Happy Hour Menu, that helped to choose from plentiful options. There is a public parking nearby + open parking down the street. Food was amazing , Enchilladas could have been better. Tacos vegetarian on request.

WORST MEXICAN FOOD EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD
Chips and salsa were the only good part of the meal. I ordered a carne asada plate — a very common dish at any Mexican restaurant — and I was shocked at how bad it was. The beans had absolutely no flavor, the steak was oily, and it smelled strongly of propane or some kind of gas. The rice was just okay, and I didn’t even bother trying the grilled onions.
Right after eating, I felt sick. My stomach hurt, my body felt swollen, and I ended up throwing up. The next day I had severe diarrhea and felt awful all weekend. It was a terrible experience, and the smelly carne asada was definitely the cause.
I’ve had much better food at any regular taqueria. This place is all decoration and zero flavor. Really disappointed.

**Fantastic Vegan Options and Exceptional Service!**
Cocina Hermanas in Danville is an absolute gem! We tried the Spicy Cauliflower and Veggie Trio Tacos, both of which were bursting with incredible flavors. But what truly stood out was their willingness to accommodate dietary preferences.
While Vegan Enchiladas aren’t on the menu, the staff kindly made them vegan when I asked. They turned out absolutely delicious, with bold and savory flavors that didn’t feel like an afterthought.
It’s rare to find a place that offers such fantastic vegan-friendly dishes and is so flexible and accommodating. Highly recommend Cocina Hermanas—don’t hesitate to ask for vegan options; they’ll exceed your expectations!

I enjoyed my overall experience when visiting this place. Their only fault was the hostess with dark hair and neck tattoo. She was very rude and ignored me when I tried to check in. At first I assumed she was just busy so she couldn’t acknowledge me, but then I saw how she treated everyone else. That’s when I felt uncomfortable. After being seated our experience was wonderful. The waitress and the gentlemen bringing out the drinks were so kind and welcoming. The food was way better than I expected. I didn’t come here expecting authentic Mexican food I came here because the food looked interesting. However I was surprised at the authentic flavors that were thrown in the mix. I’m not a fan of chicharon but after trying it here I became one. The drinks were pricey but very tasty and strong. The area and the restaurant itself is beautiful.

Excellent service and atmosphere! This place is a gem in Danville. The food is delicious and the presentation is top-notch. The ceviche was some of the best I’ve ever had. The fried bananas with churros and ice cream are a must, very authentic! The dining area is spacious with plenty of room for large parties. The servers and staff are extremely friendly. It’s fairly priced compared to other restaurants in the area. I definitely recommend it and hope to return soon.
