This Chipotle on Thrive Dr in Roseville is consistently disappointing, especially for drive-thru orders.
Portions are small, food is often sloppily prepared, and quality drops noticeably compared to ordering inside. I’ve complained before, received vouchers, and saw firsthand that when orders are watched in-store, the food is suddenly made correctly.
Tonight was the last straw:
• Ordered a double steak bowl and received half steak and pork carnitas instead (I do not eat pork).
• My wife’s bowl had a piece of plastic in it.
• Overall careless prep and zero quality control.
Food safety and accuracy should be non-negotiable. This location clearly does not take drive-thru orders seriously.
Never again.

Do NOT order delivery from This location. A major quality control issue that I’m not sure you’d have in person if you watched them make it. I ordered a salad bowl and got a total of 4 pieces of lettuce as seen by this photo. I know it looks gross but I was searching for my lettuce. I had maybe 1/3 of a vinaigrette cup, the rice was hard and was majority of the bowl (ordered at 430) and I got like a teas spoon of queso. I should have looked at the ratings and just went somewhere else.

I ordered a salad. They did not have vegetables. I got to the end of the line and asked for salad dressing and they said that they did not have any. I said, why would I order a salad if there is no dressing. They said “most people ask for the dressing up front”, as if it were my fault. They were not happy when I said I did not want the salad. The person at the cash register told me that they are short staffed, so they opened late today and that is probably why there is no dressing. I am a customer, do you really think I care why you cant do your job? The service is incredibly slow. I also had a three pointer burrito (rice, beans cheese) but was charged the $7.85 for a veggie burrito. When I asked for more cheese after she put a small amount on, she asked, “well, is this enough” without adding any more. This is a newer restaurant, but I suggest you close it until you get good staff and train them properly, because I will not be going to ANY Chipotle ever again after this experience.

This Chipotle location just opened around mid July 2021. It is a brand new building and very nicely decorated on the inside.
New workers and I guess that’s the reason for the line moving so slow.
Food is good just like all the other locations and they added a good amount of chicken meat….and I hope they keep it that way
I forgot to mention that they have a drive thru for online orders only.
4 Stars for now

Good, consistent food. Efficient, friendly food production. Tables, chairs, and floors were atrocious. Definitely enough employees on hand that one of them could’ve done some cleaning, wiping, and sweeping as needed. I’ll still come back no matter what though because…. delicious!

I just bought food for 20 dollars on lunch. My bowl was supposed to have extra corn and extra tomato salsa. I think I counted one piece of tomato and 10 pieces of corn.

I really wanted to give them five stars but unfortunately we have had a couple of negative experiences. This last time we waited 25 minutes for our pick up order when it was accidentally waiting with the drive-through orders.
But overall the food was very good and the restaurant was clean so I think four stars is appropriate.

Food was good, had to wait for white rice but that’s understandable and it came out quick! They were out of many items of food which makes sense with the closing hours, but that is no excuse for slow service. You’d think the employees would work quickly to get all customers through but it felt like it took about a minute for the employee to register my order with each step. Overall it was fine just abnormally slow.

Was in line with my friend when an employee with long hair and neck tattoos, messed up his order by putting four scoops total on a burrito bowl after he asked for double meat piling it so high there was no space for toppings. The employee proceeded to ask him if he was going to finish it, when he said no he berated him repeatedly shaking his head and saying he wasted time and supplies even though the mistake was on the employee for not following procedure. When it was my turn I had to repeat myself four times for each base, bean, and protien option most likely because the employee was stoned. Extremely disappointed, especially in the fact that said employee had the gaul to berate my friend due to his own mistake and lack of understanding of policy. Double meat has never meant, double meat for both types of meat.
