For our entrées, I ordered the Chicken Chettinad, which had a rich, coconut-base that was creamy, aromatic, and full of deep, layered spices. It was comforting and flavorful with every bite. My husband ordered the Andhra Chicken Curry, which had a bolder spice profile and a nice kick of heat. Both dishes tasted authentic and were packed with flavor.
We also ordered the Garlic Cheese Naan, and it was absolutely perfect with the entrees. Warm, soft, and slightly crispy on the edges, with just the right amount of garlic and melted cheese. It paired so well with the sauces and made the meal even better. The portion sizes were generous as they came with a side of rice each, and we left completely satisfied. Our server was so helpful with recommendations and attentive. We can’t wait to come back to try more!
I was considering of getting butter chicken but per the server’s recommendation I got the Andhra Chicken curry instead. It was so tasteful! Remember to tell them what spice level you would like. I like medium hot but on the spicier side and I got level 6.
My husband got the Achari Gosht (mutton) also recommended by the server. He wanted to get mutton but was not sure which dish.
And of course we ordered the garlic naan (One is enough for two people). The portions are reasonable. If you want to order an appetizer I recommend sharing a main dish. You can always order more! We will definitely go back to dine here again.
I got a Mysore Masala dosa. Loved it. They said that their chef is from the region in India known for dosas so this location has the best. I thought it was delicious, especially the dipping sauce variety.
We also got two curries. The shahi korma which was my favorite thing we had! A little on the sweeter side. The other one was a mutton one and now I am drawing a blank on the exact one. But it was good. Just wish there wasn’t any bones. We added on naan bread too.
It is on my to-do’s to come back here ASAP because there are so many good options. I like their willingness to help with questions and suggestions. The food did take awhile to come out which I am assuming is because they make it all on the spot- or at least I am hoping.
Ordered Vegetable Uthapam which was cooked well – chutneys were good, Sambar – not so much. Overall, pretty decent experience.
P.S The portions are big and meat is so tender it falls off the bone.
My son, who is an Indian food snob, declared to our server that we will definitely be back!
We got Chicken 65, Ambur Mutton Biriyani and Goat Qorma.
The Chicken 65 was the best of the 3. (If you do a takeout, heat it up in an Air fryer). The chicken was cooked well. It tasted Ok. Not quite to the level of Zyka.
The Ambur Goat biriyani had generous amt of meat. The taste itself was ok but it was not quite Ambur style. It tasted more generic. Sorry.
The lamb Qorma was like no other Qorma I had had. It was too thick, heavy and greasy. The meat was not cooked enough. This was our least favorite.
I give it 3 stars because the decor is super Chic and the Ice cream / Kulfi options are vast although we did not taste any of that.
