Rock hard & stone cold butter was the start to this mess.

Bread an butter was removed without prompting or asking, no check-up during our courses (only after)… the service was severely lacking!

The best thing that night was the wine that I chose.
I won’t even ‘score’ the food; that’s how much I found the overall experience lacking. Disappointing is actually the better word.

Will not revisit, and I recommend you try the brasserie or main restaurant instead.

The most devine crab. So much so that we ordered seconds. Yes, seconds even after we had tender juicy calamrie, delicious eal and finger licking good langoustines, oysters, and scalops before that. And no, we were only 2 , not ten peopld around the table.
Needless to say that they bake their own bread as well.
The service was good.
Modern interior in an old building with high ceilings.

We were in the mood for some sea-food and checked ratings around.

It was a very refreshing experience: the service is friendly, nothing is too complicated, there is a tranquility, neatness and cleanness while the kitchen is open, it gives a cosy atmosphere

Then the food; it was very tasty and prepared with care, attention and professional pride. Once it was noticed we shared a few dishes to get a taste of a bit of everything, our main dish was even split and presented in 2 portions without being requested.

With an atmosphere where nothing is too much, and there is attention and care for the customers without making a circus or show about it. Seeing the kitchen staf work in the open kitchen with the same tranquil vibe.

Everything is just as it should be. Nothing too much, nothing too little. We had a very pleasant evening here and returned home satisfied and recharged.

We LOVED this quaint restaurant. We were able to secure a last-minute reservation for 6pm. The staff was amazingly gracious – our friends were running 30 minutes late and they let us keep the table up until the next reservation showed up. We ordered the seafood platter which was delicious, especially the small prawns and the crab. We had the Dover sole and this incredible asparagus egg dish that was a special for the evening. The wine list is small but beautifully curated. Highly recommend. thank you to the staff and the manager for a memorable evening.

I had the dublin-style prawns, my God I have never had prawns this good before. My buddies had the king crab and the sea bass. Along with these, we had the escargot. All of the food was excellent. The servers were very nice, and our wine was delicious. So glad we stumbled upon this place.

My favourite fish restaurant in Antwerpen. Great cooking, fine wine and nice staff, who can actually explain fish & wine.
A small oasis of tranquility in the busy streets of Antwerpen. Besides de menu I can recommend the daily dish. Which had this time for starters the best coquille St Jacques I have ever tasted. And the best cod blanchett for main dish.
The lemon sorbet was to lemon for my taste, but I’m a notorious sweet tooth.
