I was so happy then I picked up my order today. They look different from when the owner made my order vs employees? Note pic #1 I had already taken 2 bites. 20+ not satisfied, second pic, unfortunately I got to go and didn’t realize until I got home. No sauce and pieces look kind of small, no marinate, looks kind of blah. Update: got almost no rice on the employee order. Pic will fool you. Also no flavor because there is no sauce

Love this place!! Best poke bowl in town. Expect the middle aged brunette with hoops that works at the yacht club location has the worst attitude for no reason. Asked a question and got a nasty face and snooty response. I miss the sweet older guy who is usually working!!

Surprisingly the sushi roll was incredible! (had the Salem Roll) My only comment is on the wait time, compared to the other trucks there, it took longer. But the food in my opinion makes up for time waiting. The area allows dogs and has water for them which is awesome!

I have been here twice and it was exceptional and amazing both times. The older gentleman served me both times, I think he may be the owner. He was kind, generous, and pleasant. He gave me extra salmon on my poke bowl and this time he gave me the belly cut. Awesome dude, awesome place!

Yummy sushi and friendly staff! None of the negative reviews on this place are actually about the food, because it’s great. We were given complimentary jalapeño bites that were so incredible and unique. The sushi we got was also delicious and fairly priced ($11 for a speciality roll). The menu is available through a QR code which may be less accessible for some, but I’m someone who hates the experience of crowding around a food cart trying to read details, so I enjoyed this. It’s in a cute little area with a firepit and five or six other carts.

Was trying to pick up DoorDash from here. The order I had to pick up had been placed a bit before I pulled up and yet the employees kept taking orders from other people and doing it first. Absolutely zero communication. Was supposed to pick up order by no later than 6:27. At 6:45 one of the workers tells me that it will take another 20 minutes . I come back in 20 minutes (7:05) and waited until 7:30!!! Absolute joke. As soon as I picked up the order it got canceled because it took too long. The pros were I got to eat the order. If I had paid for it I would have been disappointed, it was a bit bland but not bad.

I was kinda excited to get a sushi-rito and the ingredients listed in the menu sounded perfect. Sadly what I got was 80% rice – which wasn’t even listed as an ingredient – and there was just a little bit of the good stuff.

Nice stand in a cute area. The person taking the order was nice however when we picked up our food the other worker was curt and standoffish while shoving our order in our hands. Sushi itself was mediocre, for $18… There was better options.

The rolls were mediocre at best. The only thing worse than the food was the guys attitude in the window. Rude and dismissive. Acted like he was going out of his way to do his job and make my food. Avoid this place. It already has a low review score for a reason.

We are regulars and have always loved the poke bowls and rolls. Northfresh was our go to when we want good sushi. This past year however, we noticed that when the employees make the food, it is subpar in quality and quantity verse when Pops or the owners make it. Today was especially bad and we won’t be returning. For $18, the Legend roll was so small, like appetizer size. The slices of fish and avocado was so thin, we can see thru to the rice, almost like it was not slices but thinly buttered on. No ginger and the wasabi was runny like it was spit on and haphazardly mixed together. Disgusting! The Lava poke bowl did not taste right, hardly any chili oil, no avocado, lemon, sesame seeds, edamame, ginger, or wasabi. Zero flavor. Nothing except a thin layer of rice topped with small pieces of tuna, red onions, and side of seaweed. Wish I had thought to take a pic. There were 2 kids working the truck today during lunch. We came before noon and it was not busy. Just grabbed the buzzer from my hand when I went to pick up. Sorry but there are other sushi places with actual customer service and actual food served! Northfresh will no longer be our go to place. Done!
