Honestly is one of my favorite Persian places in town.
Small and cozy. Wonderful for lunch or dinner.
I will be back here for sure.
Loved their dishes and even have my favorites that will keep bringing me back here.
It is worth to try and find for yourself
The Chicken Kebab was good and nicely cooked. However, the rest of the dishes were unfortunately just average. The Mirza Ghasemi felt dry and lacked freshness and flavor. The grilled prawns were disappointing as well only two prawns were served for $16, and they were not very flavorful. The red sauce served with the prawns was also quite dry and didn’t add much taste. Even the pita bread seemed dry.
Overall, it’s an okay place, but based on my previous experiences at other Persian and Middle Eastern restaurants, this one did not stand out. I expected better quality and flavor.
The atmosphere is cozy, modern, and welcoming, making it great for a date night or a family dinner. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which really adds to the experience.
Don’t skip dessert—the baklava ice cream sandwich is incredible! They also have creative cocktails that pair perfectly with the food. Parking can be a little tricky, but the complimentary valet makes it easy.
With a focus on eating more protein, I chose the hummus. It was a delicious and satisfying choice. For a drink, I challenged the bartender to create a spicy martini, and they absolutely delivered. While I don’t recall the name, it had a bold, fiery bite that was unforgettable.
The service was amazing. Both the bartender and servers were incredibly sweet and attentive. Although the pita bread was a bit overcooked and dry, the hummus was ok.
I decided to try the baklava ice cream sandwich for dessert. This treat was nothing short of amazing—a perfect blend of sweet and savory that I could have eaten all day long!
Chelo is a true hidden gem in Roswell. It’s the kind of place you might miss if you blink, but it’s well worth seeking out for its incredible ambiance, unique cocktails, and truly unforgettable dessert. #ashsaidit
We booked a reservation and when we walked in we were the only people inside. I was very worried at first but when the appetizers came out, all my fears went away. Everything we had was AMAZING..!! I had Persian food before but nothing this good. Our waitress was very nice but could had done better checking on us throughout our meal. I had to get her attention twice to request a refill of soda. Other than that, the decor inside is different but sets the moods.
Parking is a HUGE pain which there is COMPLIMENTARY Valet parking. I highly recommend doing this verse trying to find parking on your own.
We will definitely be back and I plan on bringing my entire family here as well.
