Seat yourself when you arrive, Chicken decor was cute but the restaurant is a bit out dated. I noticed cracks under window near our table were filled with napkins.
Restrooms were a little messy and the pay counter area was very messy.
Another negative thing I noticed while paying was the cook can out to handle the register and cash from customers and return to cooking in between customers without washing hands.
Service was ok, I only noticed 1 waitress and she was busy and doing the best she could. Friendly folks.
Food was good, Pancakes and French toast were average, bacon and sausage were also good, But the best thing we got were the homemade fried potatoes, they were great! Syrup served in a cup/bowl with a spoon was a little odd and messy. Tasted like warmed up log cabin.
We had water to drink and thats tasted kind of odd, I think it was the ice honestly.

I went in here with my friend for the first time and the breakfast looked very very good and well done the way it needed to be done. My friend had simple eggs and bacon hash browns. I had the club sandwich with fruit and here’s the kicker play brought out a bunch of fresh fruit in a bowl that I didn’t really expect when I ordered fruit I thought it would be some canned fruit but they brought out fresh apples and grapes the menu is very very large. So there is something for everyone if they are hungry or if they just want something quick and easy like a snack.. The owner is a very nice man and his family helps him run the restaurant. He has a beautiful daughter who is a very kind person and very attentive to the customers as is the father. I seen the mother working in the back I guess she’s the cook.(I see where daughter gets her good looks) Just a very humble friendly family. Who have worked very hard for what they have and they need the support of the community to continue to be successful. The restaurant is very clean and well taken care of. It’s an older restaurant but it is in good shape. They offer comfort food with real friendliness not fake smiles.

Found this while passing through town and glad we stopped. This should be called a hole in the wall, food was so good that my pickey eaters cleared their plates. Service was top notch and our drinks were never empty.

This one is a hidden gem of a place. They have an huge menu and everything is customizable. I had something called the ‘Joe’s favorite’ made with loads of veggies and egg white. It is the ‘hands down’ the best omelette I’ve have ever had! The owner told a sweet story about it. He said that they named the dish after his long time customer who had passed away. These are the reason I love to support neighborhood eateries. The stories are so personal. Everything we ordered tasted great.
The decor is super cute. Reminded me of my trip to Cambodia where the rooster is considered auspicious. The whole eatery is rooster themed. There used to be a huge metal rooster welcoming you in the front. The restrooms were clean. The owners are so friendly and the food is great. Will surely visit them again.
The thing to note is, do not get put off by the funky smell when you enter. Just look beyond it, the place will surprise you.

I cancelled my food when the party I was with received their food and was half way done eating. I tasted someone’s food and it was bland. Two people in my party ordered the same thing but the portion size were completely different. We had to ask for tea twice. And the food was overly priced for what you got.
They blamed it on being short staffed, however, this should’ve been stated prior to my food being extremely late. It seemed more that my food was forgot about and realized after noticing I was sitting there without food.
No discount was offered do to their mistake.
Disappointing since we are from out of town and was looking for local food to eat and support.

Great, family owned restaurant!! The best biscuits I have ever had!! Service is fast and on point. The biscuits and gravy!!! We went when we were traveling out of state – and going back on the way home!!

This is one of my FAVORITE restaurants! It is exactly the small town diner you want to have a coffee at to start your day. They page of omelettes first won me over years ago with such unique options like cream cheese and avocado. Not to mention that the family who runs this restaurant are the nicest people you will ever meet. Come visit them like I do EVERY time I come to Wichita Falls, hopefully they will be one of your favorites too!

I can’t even say how much I loved eating here! I am currently driving from Las Vegas all the way to Miami and driving on the road you’ll find that a good hardy home cooked meal is hard to come by on the road. This restaurants food was simply AMAZING!
I was greater with a friendly waitress that took the best care of us and made me feel at home. I got the Belgian waffle combo and everything tasted from farm to table just like it used to growing up on a ranch in Southern Utah.

Went to have a nice breakfast. The hashbrowns were burned on one side and soggy on the other. The creamer bowl had disgusting stuff on it. The omelet had unidentified hard black things in it and the biscuits were greasy lumps that were inedible. Overall nasty. Won’t be going there again.
