Normally good food. Wanted to try the new mac & cheese. They tried to ring me up for a higher price than what was shown. Didn’t realize, but the containers were upside down. It spilled everywhere on the way home. What a waste. Also forgot my wedges although I paid for the combo. Also I can’t even call and tell them. The number is out of service. Sad how downhill this once great food spot has gone.
(edit) Changed to 4 stars. I came back and got the wedges and tenders replaced. There was a miscommunication. They thought I wanted one of the mac & cheese’ as a side replacement. So it was $1.80 more to have what I wanted to order instead. I gave them $2 and said it was okay. I’m glad it was fixed. But the miscomminication was frustrating.

The chicken pantry is a convenience store so go in there with that in mind. Multi national employees staff the facility and all seemed willing to assist me especially on my first visit when they kinda had to explain the menu options. I have tried the wings, liver, breast and nuggets. I have nothing negative to say at all. It’s not your usually fast food experience, but in many ways easier. The order options are numerous and it’s quick , easy in and out. I thought I was at grandmama’s house when I bit into the seasoned crust around the juicy meat.

This place offers excellent local fried chicken in an unexpected location. It is situated inside a gas station, which may seem a bit sketchy, but the staff are courteous and friendly. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, and the fried gizzard is also a delicious treat. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a satisfying meal.

NEVER AGAIN! 12 wings, no sides… $18 after tax. Who charges that? Never again. Price Gouging at it finest. Gas station chicken that cost more than the Chop House?! When you go out of business remember that in your Ultra-Geed, small town consumers still have a choice. I’ve made mine and I’m sure 100s will make the same calculation. NEVER AGAIN!

I requested two leg quarter combos from Pantry Fried Chicken, paid for both, but received only one order. The meal emitted a burnt grease smell throughout the house, and upon flipping the chicken, I discovered it was overcooked and burn and inedible. The taste was in the wedges as well…

Life saver for that emergency “pitstop”, the bathroom was clean, although awkwardly situated in the middle of the place. I really liked this spot. The employees were super nice. The fish was fantastic he said it was flounder, tasted a bit like catfish, delicious nonetheless. My husband saw the chicken gizzards and they exceeded his expectations. I have no photos of the fish because it was eaten by the time I thought to take a pic.
