This was a late night pseudo desperation choice for a meal with friends. We had low expectations.
Holy cow were we impressed! Absolutely excellent Chicago style pizza. Our friends got thin crust which was just as good.

I’ve loved Talanya’s for forever. When they disappeared from Main Street St. Charles I was devastated. It took them forever to come back but the pizza is still great. There is no seating so you can only buy takeout now. But the pizza itself is worth it.

It was not good we were recommended by someone we know to try this pizza but simply it was probably the worst one we ever had. It wasn’t like authentic deep dish and the crust was uncooked, the sauce had weird after taste and we had food poisoning the next day. Highly disappointed !

Have always been a fan of Talayna’s and while open was a loyal customer. However, the new setup was a disaster last night. We put in our order online at 4:15, told it would be ready for pickup at 4:45. Arrived at 4:45. Only one person was working at the time. A few minutes later someone else arrived. They were scrambling. Eventually at 5:10 I was told it would be 10-12 minutes. At 5:40 I inquired and the cook said he was just starting my order. I was furious that someone had the audacity to blatantly lie about my order. They did refund my order and we went elsewhere. It was clear that they did not prep for the day because the cook was making house dressing on the fly. So sad to see this because I would have waited if the food was still at the high standard. But I couldn’t wait another 30-40 minutes.

This is a new location from their previous location that they had forever. Some items are now missing from their old menu but the pizza is as great as ever. This is one of my favorite pizza places. A+ on the food! This Talayna’s pizza is incredible!
