must get: smashburger deluxe combo (comes with drink & fries) or chicken salad triple decker + onion rings

would skip: their fries

this place is a blast from the past; retro posters and signage with pastel pinks and blues! i can’t stand grand / over the top diners that serve monstrous portions while charging an arm and a leg. the portions here at 57s are perfect and the pricing is fair. there’s nothing really wrong with the fries, but i really would recommend upgrading to the onion rings! they’re so crunchy and it’s a full onion sliced battered with no fillers. our waitress was soooo personable and attentive (i unfortunately don’t recall her name but she was a brunette sweetheart with glasses)!

i’ve been going to 57s ever since i attended the school nearby and its amazing to see that quality and community is still amazing as ever. can’t speak for their breakfast but their lunch is top tier!

my little cousin loved the shirley temple!

57’s checks all the boxes. The food is spot on, the service is quick and friendly and the vibe is fun and relaxed. Love sitting at the bar or the retro booths.

The breakfast here is great and they know how to cook their eggs. The coffee is nice too. I had a breakfast wrap with avocado and hash browns on the side with salsa and it was perfect. Have also tried the grilled chicken sandwich which came out on a garlic toasted hero (great quality bread) lettuce, mayo and juicy red tomato. Added steak fries because they’re the best.

Can’t recommend this place enough. I live right near Neptune diner and walk all the way to 57’s instead because they are that much better.

I had a cheeseburger that was the juiciest burger I’ve ever had. The bun was toasted, pickles were so fresh ! The sweet potato fries were the best! It’s one of my favorite places to go when I’m in Queens, New York for the best Burgers! Greek salad! Milk shake made from the Greek guys!

This is my third time ordering from this place and i absolutely love it. The Cheeseburgers are right on point the flavor is amazing, the meat is very juicy and flavorful also their wings are banging very tender and very nicely done. I highly recommend this 57 Burger place if you’re a big Cheeseburgers fanatic. 100% highly recommend.

My family loves 57’s, they love to eat there and also the quick delivery service too. The variety of food means everyone can be happy . There are 4 different kinds of fries! I love the grilled zucchini and Italian wrap with pesto. The chocolate cake is excellent too. We have also used 57’s for catering parties and they never disappoint! Highly recommend this great unique neighborhood neighborhood restaurant.

Been coming here since they’ve opened many, many years ago. Only come for breakfast but need to try lunch/dinner. Breakfast is always reliably good. Best sausage of any diner I’ve been to and great fresh o.j. Service is always quick and friendly. Hands down the best diner in the neighborhood.

This is a nice neighborhood diner with nostalgia decor. Definitely has a traditional vibe from 57!! The kitchen is located in the middle of the restaurant and you watch your food being cooked and prepared. Our server was attentive and brought food fairly quickly. Breakfast was delicious. Home fries had a delicious flavor, and portions were generous. They serve fresh squeeze orange juice. Overall, this was a nice experience, and will continue to visit. Also, they sell beer and wine and have brunch specials.

I can’t believe I never knew this place existed in my neighborhood after 10+ years of living here. Apparently, this diner has been running for 15 years. I came here on a whim, but my experience ended up being better than I had expected.

First off, it was refreshing to see such a clean looking diner. The interior is clean and well-decorated, good old school diner vibes without the grime.

My bf and I ordered their classic 57 burger with classic fries and an order of their waffles. Both were great, but we especially liked their burger. It was a simple burger, but it tasted fresh. It didn’t taste oily/greasy at all and the the patty was well seasoned and cooked. I love that it came with a side of pickles The only downside is that it’s an extra $2 to add a slice of cheese onto the burger. The shoestring fries were mediocre, so I would opt to upgrade to their other fries next time (waffle, curly, etc.)

I’ll definitely be back when I’m craving a burger.

Food isn’t great, but it isn’t bad either. The customer service is excellent though. It’s your typical diner food so I didn’t know what I should order to eat. To be on the safe side, I went with a burger, the James dean. There was also a breakfast dish. Most diners come with a combo but the combos here have an extra charge. I ordered curly fries to share thinking it would be a larger plate, but it wasn’t. I found the fries to be too oily as in when I bite into it, it felt like I bit into oil instead of potato. My burger was mediocre. It tasted bland. The breakfast plate was quite large. Probably should’ve stuck to that. Overall, I love the decor of the place. I would revisit just to try other items on the menu just because the service was above and beyond.
