Legacy BBQ was created to provide our customers with the best BBQ. Nothing is purchased pre-smoked, with ‘smoke flavor’ added or any other form of imitation BBQ. Our BBQ is the real deal! We smoke everything ourselves, on site in a Southern Pride SP-700 Smoker. We do not use (or have) smoke flavoring and there is no microwave in the building (not even in the breakroom).

We ordered our Thanksgiving meal from Legacy BBQ for our family, and everything was absolutely fantastic! The turkey and brisket were tender and full of flavor, the sausages and burnt ends were incredible, and the baked beans were perfect. The service was super friendly from start to finish. We stopped in for the first time and will be back due to how nice and welcoming the owner is and how good the food was. The brisket and ribs were juicy and flavorful. The baked beans, fried okra, and pulled pork were also up to par. We are glad we found this place.

Brisket is usually amazing! The older gentleman who served up my brisket today in particular actually gave me lean cut when I asked for it. The younger (most likely gen z) employees give me fatty/cut the wrong direction brisket. Beware of them.. anyway.. tots are amazing, corn muffins are amazing, brisket when served right, amazing! Staff is mostly amazing! One of the best restaurants in palmetto and best BBQ in 60 mile radius at least! Come get you some!

I was so impressed. I had the burnt edges, sliced brisket and smoked chicken. It was so tender and juicy. I never had to pick up a knife to cut the meat. I am a huge fan of fried okra. Now you have fried okra, then you have Legacy’s fried okra, seasoned to perfection. They offered an array of sauces, but honestly, I felt that neither the meat or the okra needed sauce, they stood strong and flavorful alone.
I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, he has a passion for the food he serves and has a way if making his guests feel at home.

To the owner who responded, please see receipt for proof.Today’s date and I definitely did spend $43-just like I said. Paid cash since you’re charging 3% for card purchases There is most definitely a gas station next door (the hibachi in their parking lot is probably 100x better than your slop)

Best BBQ ever! Just ordered my Thanksgiving turkey. We had one last year and it was hands down the best turkey ever so of course it is now a tradition! My mouth is already watering lol. Kari is awesome and will make sure you have what you need for an easy holiday! Highly recommend.

Really great local bbq spot! The location is unassuming and simple but the food is so good! we loved the meats and the sides, and enjoyed trying all the sauces as well! The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

I found this restaurant on Google and placed an order via Toast. After 3 different delivery drivers agreed to pick up the order, we received it TWO HOURS later, my food was left on the doorstep even though I asked for it to be handed to me. I had a cash tip for the driver, but they were nowhere to be found. $63 worth of food was not freshly packed/made. Food was not hot to touch upon delivery, and the restaurant is less than 2 miles from my house. Gabby was nice on the phone, but I will not order again.

The entire dish was incredible! Super juicy brisket, gooey cheesy mac, and a hearty (chili seasoned?) baked beans! And to think these deep flavors and tenderness come from a place that’s only been around for ~4 months! I see many years ahead and will certainly be back!
