Scott’s Malibu Market, is an all-day gourmet deli, bakery, market & cafe, that opened at the Malibu Country Mart late in the summer of 2024. From husband and wife team, Scott & Naomi, the airy & vibrant space will offer a few styles of dining to accommodate guests throughout the day.

Scott’s Malibu Market is such a gem in the Malibu Country Mart — one of those places that instantly feels welcoming the moment you walk in. Their bakery case always looks amazing, the coffee is great, and the breakfast burrito I had this morning was delicious (and huge!).
The staff is warm, the space is bright and beautifully designed, and there are plenty of spots to sit both inside and outside. I also love how they’ve curated the market side — fresh flowers, grab-and-go items, great drinks, and thoughtful local products.
As someone who lives and works in Malibu, it’s wonderful to support a local business that puts so much care into what they do. Scott’s adds so much to our community and is truly a go-to spot for breakfast, coffee, or a casual lunch.

Allow me to start with positive points: Pleasant setting. Clean environment. Good lighting.
The food:
The brisket sandwich had decent flavor. The coleslaw half filled, as shown in the photo. Pastrami sandwich too salty and dry.
Overall, stingy portions for the price.

Scott’s Malibu is my place to go for a salad, ice cream and snacks. It is a bit pricey but I can understand due to the city it is in. I bought wings and fries and it comes with ranch and extra ranch is $1. The Buffalo wings were a bit disappointing because it was just a drizzle of buffalo sauce. I was expecting the wings to be dripping of buffalo sauce. The wings were cooked throughly and was meaty enough.The ice cream was really good. I brought chowmein noodles (small) and it was good but not the best and I bought the buffalo cauliflower and it was yummy.

Was a huge fan of the market menu from old owners and was excited to find this replaced it. They let us sample some of the items and they were fantastic. Love the Buffalo cauliflower! The 2 sandwiches we tried were so flavorful. The bread is incredibly soft! Recommend both sandwiches. The snickerdoodle cookies are great too! Can’t wait to go back! If you’re headed to Nights of Jack it’s a great stop before hand! Oh and the Staff was really nice! The past owners of the market were really grumpy and this was a nice change.

Scott’s is spectacular! It feels like an old school, local restaurant where the staff is genuinely interested in the wellbeing of their customers. Scott, the owner, and his family are fantastic people. I will be coming here regularly.
The pastrami melt is my favorite sandwich! Such great flavor – the meat, cheese, pickles, bread…they also have terrific baked goods made fresh every day. If you’re in Malibu, come try Scott’s!

Had a appt in Sherman Oaks and came home via Malibu- so easy to stop at the Mart- glad we pre-picked Scott’s- the Pastrami Melt was perfect! The coleslaw was delicious! Had to take our caprese to go, can’t wait for lunch manana! Thank you for the pleasant & fast service

Stumbled upon this place when stopping by a nearby Starbucks for coffee. Ordered a breakfast burrito and it was hands down the BEST breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. So much flavor! I wish I lived closer to Malibu, otherwise, I’d be ordering that burrito once a week. The sandwiches looked amazing and I hope to try them the next time I’m passing through. The portions are a good size and everything seems to be made with really fresh ingredients!

We found this place when we were visiting Malibu, it’s very close to the beach and the locals kept raving about it. When you turn into the small market area, it’s on the right.
The inside has a cafe/bakery as well as a food counter. The smell of the place permeated from outside, delicious!
We ordered two sandwiches and drinks; Turkey Brie and apple sandwich and the hot pastrami sandwich. The prices were very reasonable, and there was not much of a line because of how much help they had pushing thru customers. The sandwiches were delicious, so check this place out if you are in the area!
