Pacific Pearl Kitchen completely exceeded my expectations! Tucked away in Lowe Mill, this spot is an absolute must-visit. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was top tier—the staff has an incredible way of personalizing your dining experience and making you feel genuinely welcomed.
I had my heart set on the chicken wings before even walking in, and when I was placing my order, I was told they had just run out. I was a bit disappointed, but the staff quickly stepped in with thoughtful recommendations, and I decided to try something else.
Here’s where they truly went above and beyond: while I was enjoying my meal, the staff surprised me by locating a wing just so I wouldn’t miss out. That level of care and attention is rare and speaks volumes about their commitment to their guests.
The food was full of flavor, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced, making the entire experience even better.
Without a shadow of a doubt, I will be returning—and recommending Pacific Pearl Kitchen to everyone I know. If you’re at Lowe Mill and looking for amazing food paired with outstanding service, don’t miss this hidden gem!
Anyway, this business offers some fairly unique options to the Huntsville area! The menu features dishes primarily from the Philippines and Hong Kong. The menu changes frequently but has featured items like sisig, lumpia, bubble waffles, and more.
The service we received out of the trailer was polite and prompt. Our food was cooked fresh so took a little while to receive it, but we were glad when we did!
We initially both wanted chicken adobo but they had sold out, so we wound up with two orders of beef chow fun. I got a cucumber salad and Chinese style dumplings with mine, while husband opted for dumplings and an extra lumpia with his. Entrees are supposed to come with one lumpia each. Unfortunately, my husband’s order only wound up with his side order of an extra lumpia. Idk if that cancels out the initial lumpia everyone is supposed to get – kind of a bummer if so. I think this was just an accident.
Our food was quite tasty! The cucumber salad was extremely fresh and bright and had a very subtle heat from the chopped bell peppers. Our dumplings were soft, a little slippery, and unctuous, made better by the chili oil on top. Each lumpia was crisp and flavorful. I would have liked just a little more beef in my beef chow fun, but the pieces of meat I did get were tender and not too fatty. The noodles weren’t overcooked but pleasantly springy. We both asked for our food to be spicy, which was accomplished by the addition of more chili oil. I liked the addition but could’ve gone for more actual heat; as it was, it was a small spritz of heat and just nice chili flavor. At least, to me it was – my dad tried a sample and about fell over. But he’s a weenie about spice, so YMMV.
I look forward to trying the location at Lowe Mill in the future, or catching the truck again. I am thankful for a taste of something unique to the Huntsville food scene!
The eggplant was the best part of the meal, but just needing some light seasoning.
Soy sauce, vinegar, and chili sauces were available at the table which helped.
There needs to be a better description on the menu of what each meal is. We weren’t sure what exactly was included in the different options.
Edit: The restaurant has blocked me on fb (I’m guessing because of my review). Which is fine, but should really take some criticism.
