Today, I received the wrong order. No big deal, it can be fixed right? Wrong. I was not asked if I wanted a lunch or dinner size portion and when I checked my food, the shrimp was also missing (I usually receive 4). I have a very demanding job in LE and the service I received today reminded me exactly why i left this town and never looked back. The servers name? Not sure, white male, likely brown hair 5’7 – 5’8. He was rude with an attitude when I was attempting to understand why I received a lunch portion when I placed my order at 2:17 and on top of that, he offered me the solution of THREE shrimp to fix the order, I chose not to drive 15 minutes for 3 shrimp on top of the attitude I was given. How about offer me a price for the portion size that I obviously wanted without snide remarks and an attitude? I chose to put the food in the trash where it belonged since that was the service I received and chose to never come back. It was insulting and I am aware of why he chose this way of a solution because I recall speaking to him previously when I picked up another order.
**** service makes any food taste like crap. I won’t bother spending my money here again. This type of service would not fly in Houston.
The ledge next to the table was filthy and had dead bugs all over it
The food came and both adult entrees were missing avocado slices (which happens) except the server argued about it the first time, then eventually brought some sort of sauce in a bottle, and finally the third time we asked she brought the missing avocado slices
She said she had our ticket when she saw us getting ready to go but never brought it.
Eventually I left the table to use the bathroom and then try again to get our bill and boxes, when I got back two minutes later our table had been cleared
She told me she thought we’d left (AFTER she told me she had our ticket and made eye contact with me while I walked to the restroom)
Also – the bathroom smells like cat urine.
Worst part. I’m worried I’ll have food poisoning tomorrow.
1st they automatically bring you a basket of chips and a bowl of salsa per person and yet the just charge for you each thing without telling you. Giving you the idea its free. Who just brings something out and charges for for it. I have never in my life experienced that!
2nd it was fairly slow and still took over 20 mins for our food with one entree coming out 10 minutes before the rest. No limes with the tacos if you ask they charge you.
3rd and finale. Each and everyone of our meals was not edible, leaving a bad taste that we couldn’t finish. The chicken smelt and tasted almost like fish! They only compt our nacho app nothing else, when nothing else was ate.
I know its the only mex restaurant in town but WOULD NOT RECCOMEND go 20 miles south to sterlington or cook at home!
Do not waste your time or money!!!
