Surprisingly pleasant experience. The food was great. Great burger. Delicious crispy onion rings. The Mother Clucker buttermilk fried chicken and bacon with cole slaw sandwich was wonderful. Enjoyed the meal.

1st time in we were a little nervous as we were expecting a traditional “sit down” restaurant. A boisterous,friendly gentleman (I’m assuming he’s the owner) walked us through the menus, specials and how to order. His passion and friendliness really made our night. So much so, the next time we were in town we brought my mother. Same great experience and great food! Now if only he would relocate down to the Milwaukee area 🙂

First time at the local press. I’m at my niece for dinner and the first impression was pretty bad as the door entryway was loaded with leaves from trees that had blown in there and obviously had been there for months since the fall. You would think that the owners are managers would sweep them out or collect them but it looks very untidy and unkept. It made me wonder if they took as much seriousness in keeping the cooking and food prep area clean? When we got our meal, I wasn’t super impressed with the size of my sandwich. More importantly, they did not prepare it properly after I made specific requests not to have avocado on the sandwich and to put heavy onions. Neither of those things were done.. after I pulled off the avocados, I asked the waitress to bring me the large amount of onions that I requested to be put on the sandwich initially and she brought me a skimpy portion but I didn’t say anything. Definitely won’t go back anytime soon

Local Press is my Sheboygan favorite hands down. The burgers, chicken sandwiches, and fries are equally amazing (and crispy.) With consistently great service, unique food options that still feel like cozy faves, and a cool ambiance with local art… supporting local has never felt easier! Shout out to Joseph at the counter, his recommendations are always on point!

I had one of the best chicken sandwiches ever! It was so yummy!! They also had local art on the wall that you could buy. The guy at the counter was really nice, and we got our food quickly!

Awesome Food !!!! I can not brag enough about or meal. 2 chocolate shakes, and split the Juicy Brucie, an order of Guiness battered onion rings, and an order of Frachos. Everything was five star delicious. My only critique would be to add a little spice to the Frachos. I should have asked for some sliced jalapenos. Burger was juicy and full of flavor.

A good place for tasty food. The food is counter order and sit where you would like. Lots of seating inside and outside. Food tasted good but a little salty for the curds. Efficient service and street parking. Prices were okay for what it is.
