I had the privilege of dining at Les Amis for lunch last October, and although this review comes a few months later, the experience remains vivid in my memory.
Holding three Michelin stars, Les Amis truly delivers an extraordinary level of refinement and consistency. From the moment I arrived, the service was polished yet warm — a seamless balance of professionalism and genuine hospitality. The team demonstrated deep knowledge, attentiveness, and grace throughout the entire lunch.
The cuisine was exceptional — precise, elegant, and beautifully composed. Every course reflected technical mastery while maintaining soul and clarity of flavor. It was a lunch that flowed effortlessly, each dish thoughtfully progressing to the next.
As a wine professional, I must highlight their wine program. Since 1994, Wine Spectator has recognized their wine list, and it is easy to understand why. The depth and breadth of the collection is remarkable — one of the most comprehensive and impressive in the region. The curation, maturity of vintages, and overall selection speak to serious dedication and passion.
Four months later, I can still say this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. A true benchmark for fine dining in Singapore.
Highly recommended.

Had a lovely dinner last night – my only complaint was that the main course of venison was a tad underwhelming in terms of size and flavour – but presentation and thoughtfulness in all the other dishes still left an overall positive experience. It’s the perfect place for an understated yet traditional french experience for special occasions or anytime you just want to treat yourself. Special thanks to Catherine for taking care of us!

Recently went to try out Les Amis in Singapore at a stopover. Food was on par as what a 3 star Michelin restaurant should be, but in between courses, we were served with a wide choice of viennoiseries, delicious yet full of carbs and in fact made us so full that it affects our appetites for the main and dessert. Service was superb and our serveuse Ms Catherine, was warm and welcoming. The whole Les Amis Team was very professional, all dishes were served at precise timing. At the end of our meal, my husband and I were both presented each with a warm orange butter cake wrapped in parchment sealed with the signature LA sticker to take back to our hotel for afternoon tea, a continuation of the Les Amis flavour. Perhaps our only complaint in this aspect would be the very rushed explanation of the dishes. We had the impression that this was a well rehearsed description that was put on repeat over and over which became robotic.
Ambience was elegant and quiet. Would be happy to visit again when we stop over Singapore.

Sometimes, Perfection doesn’t need to be over-the-top, pompous, or shockingly extraordinary. Sometimes, it is about lovingly crafting a meal using the experience of more than 30 years and the finest ingredients Mother Nature has to offer on this planet. Cooked cleanly and purely, every course incorporates balanced seasoning and more importantly, is thoughtfully served with authentic smiles. Ms. Catherine, Mr. Murugan, Chef and the Les Amis team created an experience for us that couldn’t be a better way to conclude the year of 2025, and to look forward to a happier, brighter one in 2026. Our heartfelt thanks to the Team for taking us on this journey of French culinary excellence that we will never forget.

As with all Michelin starred establishments, they all come under close scrutiny and in particular with 3 stars. Les Amis being one of Singapore’s long standing figures in the realm of fine dining tries its best. While distinctively lacking in natural views or scenery it tries to accommodate with a well portioned interior. We were greeted at the door by friendly staff and promptly ushered to our table on the mezzanine floor, which came as a result of a request for privacy. Overlooking the tables below we enjoyed this table immensely.
The menu consists of the grande tasting menu and a 4 course++ menu. Along side is a very well priced and expertly prepared tasting flight.
Overall the staff were friendly, attentive and professional but I couldn’t help but feel some were rushing through the explanations as though they felt awkward being there.
The food itself was overall good but the 1st main with the surf and turf was a huge let down. By preparing the lobster and beef in that manner you managed to lose the defining texture and mouth feel of each. It became a soft yet chewy accident.
The most outstanding few dishes
1. Foie gras moose with mushrooms
2. The hand dived scallop
The bread and cheese selection were great and appreciated the recommendations from the staff.
The wine list is extensive and very reasonably priced.

I had a truly fulfilling dinner here. The delicious dishes, made with the freshest ingredients, were prepared in a creative and well-balanced way. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere and the elegant setting of the restaurant. The portions were a little generous for me. I love their caviar.

This place is remarkable at so many levels. I am going there since 20 years now and quality of the service and food have never ever changed ! Most probably one of the highest standards in the world of haute gastronomy. After 2 years , all the staff recognised me from even the door step and calling me by my name ! Just amazing! Well done guys ! Of course food is the the top of the top ! Well done and see you soon

We made a wonderful evening at the Michelin three-starred and award-winning Les Amis restaurant during our trip for the F1 spectacular in Singapore. Helmed by Chef Sebastien Lepinoy , the French haute restaurant is convivial with attentive service as anticipated. The four-courses menu was satiating with generous seafood options. The blue lobster as a starter, was hefty but appetite-whetting, while the scallop and slow-cooked salmon was very skillfully-treated with juicy and tender texture! The desserts and pastries were all heart-pleasing for a pastry-lover like me. It was a satisfying evening to conclude the Sat evening.

A lot of hits and misses. For a place of such credentials, was quite surprised with the food itself. Flavours were way too strong for many dishes, I felt that there wasn’t much balance. It was one of the worst fine dining restaurant I have been to

Dined at Les Amis and had a lovely experience. The dishes were very creative and the service was great. The caviar egg was a highlight!
The only small downside was that some of the breads weren’t served warm.
Overall, still a very enjoyable meal 🙂
