This is a lovely roadside place! The staff were kind and helpful on a day with bad weather when many other places weren’t open. We had breakfast sandwiches on pillowy brioche, a cider donut, chocolate croissant, and a cup of tea. I would definitely stop here again!

My husband is in Ludlow frequently often once a week on business and has never once noticed you because even though your sign is big the lettering is small and almost impossible to read from the road and that’s if you’re looking for it.
Today I told him about it and he stopped in and waited for at least 10 minutes, saying hello, hello? And no one came to help him. So he grabbed some donuts and left some cash. He was hoping for coffee but you only have a couple of drip coffees from Speeder and Earl’s which for an”cafe” is not good. The cafe is cute and I realize you’re still somewhat new on the block but you have a fantastic location and cute place and could be booming with business if you changed a few things – I know because I have helped run a successful cafe before and I see amazing potential for you guys!
The donuts had a good taste, slightly overdone but good taste. Maybe could use a slight more apple flavor. By the time I got them they were so dry they were crumbling in my hands and that made them hard to eat. He was in there at noon on a Saturday which could be bustling but was completely empty.
Some suggestions to help you get the attention you deserve:
– Make the sign bolder, don’t let your logo take up so much of the sign, make the letters big and bold, put a big sign above it saying CIDER DONUTS or something similar so it can be seen 100-200 feet down the road
– Have a door open sensor so you can work in the back without having to worry about missing a customer, I’ve been there and having a noise when the door opens is SO helpful
– Upgrade your coffee options, learn espresso and use Vermont Coffee coffee for drip coffee (though Speeder Earls is great for Maple coffee)
– Perfect the frying so they’re not overly crispy on the outside or too doughy in the middle, and so they don’t crumble
Overall would try again now that I know you’re there. You guys have such a great location and so much potential. I say go for it, learn your market (specialty Vermont coffees and Apple cider donuts in peak season would make you a grand slam) and reach for the stars. Great potential – hope you succeed in all you do!

Their breakfast sandwich is served on a big, fluffy brioche bun that’s soft, buttery, and perfect.The apple cider donuts are exactly what you want them to be, the perfect balance of apple flavor and sweetness, and cooked just right.
And of course, the coffee is great too, which ties the whole experience together. The staff is SO nice and welcoming. A must visit!

Stopped in for a coffee and baked good, ended up getting a coffee, sausage egg & cheese and donuts. Breakfast sandwich was gone in minutes- really solid SEC. Cider donuts are killer- crunchy sugary on the outside & soft inside. I could’ve eaten the whole bag! We will definitely be back, probably will be a regular stop on the way to the mountain.

The food in Vermont has been overwhelmingly bland and average. This place is an exception to the rule. I decided to chance this place and got a surprisingly great sausage and egg breakfast sandwich. Great service and reasonably priced.

These donuts are the truth. Perfect sugary texture. I tasted everything pictured – My next favorite is the muffins and really everything is good. The soft serve goes down easy. All beautifully redone on the inside and friendly staff. Fantastic addition to the community.

Found this gem when most other places in town were closed (New Year’s Eve) and am so glad we did. The people were incredibly friendly, helpful and willing to serve us even very close to closing. I had a delicious breakfast sandwich and my daughter loved her cider donuts. We will be back! ❤️

Fantastic cider donuts and top tier sausage, egg, and cheese sandwiches. Great ambience too, dug the music and chatting with the owner. Highly recommend picking up a dozen on your way to or from the mountain.

Wow, we have had a lot of different apple cider donuts over the years and I was amazed by these. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a really great apple taste. It tasted like biting into a fresh apple but way better. If I knew they would be this good I would have bought more to bring home.
