Grabbed takeout from here. You either call or order in store. No online ordering.. that I could find so let me know if I’m wrong. Crab tempura was solid (good) made with real crab not the kani stuff, I always prefer the real thing so wherever it’s offered, I’m going to order it. Not a huge fan of sauces but this went well with the fried crab. The Spicy Lobster didn’t give spice in the sense I was thinking of, no hot peppers or sauces or anything. Still enjoyed it, an elevated California roll. The steak hibachi was dry, as you can probs tell in the picture. Definitely wouldn’t reorder — I have been back for both rolls though, they’re always fresh and consistently good.

I love Uncle Sushi & Grill. Best East Asian food in RI from the places that I’ve tried. Their Vietnamese Chicken Pho is DIVINELY flavorful. And it tastes even better the next day. Their Fried Rice is fresh and flavorful. It has the perfect small amount of oil so you don’t feel bogged down the next day. The chicken wings are so crispy when you get them regular. The spicy ones are less crispy of course due to the sauce but both have beautiful aromatic, well balanced yet complex flavor profiles. They use the perfect amount of Fish Sauce in their dishes so that it’s not overshadowing the rest of the components. Also, their Thai Iced Tea is really smooth and yummy. You can tell the amount of each ingredient placed In the dishes are deeply intentional. The staff is kindly efficient and smart. Due to the size of the space they’re mainly a Takeout Restaurant (order in-person or call during non-rush hours) but the food is well packaged so you aren’t losing any flavor during the ride home. Also, I didn’t experience any spillage in the bags during transport. For all 4 items I spent ~$37 and I have food to keep me going for the next few days! I love this place.

Delightful cozy little spot in an old building that goes up to the sidewalk crammed between a car wash and a used car lot on busy Reservoir Avenue in Cranston. One orders at the counter, and the food is brought to one’s table if one can find a table in this tiny place. Most people get takeout from what I observed. The sashimi plate we ordered was fresh and delicious and the vegetarian plate I ordered was succulent. My daughter was happy with her entree as well.

The place attracts patrons of all age groups and backgrounds which shows its broad-based appeal.

The Laos-inspired dishes offered on the menu adds uniqueness.

Overall, my daughter and I were quite satisfied with this little gem. However, the rest room could use some repairs and upgrades.

The restaurant owners have used the tiny space smartly, and the place has an abundance of character and charm.

This is a small, family owned place. Essentially a take-out place but there are four tables where take-out food can be eaten. Not fancy, but very friendly and really delicious. The beef pho is better than i recall having in Hanoi and the sushi is really fantastic

I want to start off this review to first note they are takeout only. They have a couple tables and chairs that we were lucky to be able to eat there. Small little place with amazing food with amazing taste. Sushi rolls are huge!! My family and I got 9 different rolls, (The Jason, the Steak and cheese, the Kayla, the Lea, the Suicide, The Rainbow, the Resevoir, The Rhode Island, and a spicy tuna roll). There was NOT ONE we didnt like!! All were packed with flavor, worth every cent. All fish was so fresh, service was pretty good. The garlic fried noodles were so good. I’m already thinking of my next order for the next time I come back. Worth the 45 minute drive too!!

A very eclectic sushi shop. It seems to be family owned and ran which I love- the best food is made like that. They sell other things than sushi but for my first experience we only got the Kayla roll and a shrimp tempura roll. We also got a side of pork dumplings. We were so hungry we didn’t take a picture but I will definitely be back when I am in the area and take a proper picture before we devour the food.

Everything was absolutely delicious. My wife and I both loved the miso soup, chicken yakitori and Kayla roll. Definitely recommended. You can eat in if you want but it’s mostly takeout.

The food was on point, but the experience could be improved. There was no call waiting; so when I called and the line was busy, it just didn’t connect. It caused me to order on person and wait around for 25-30 minutes while they made my food. Just be aware of that when you go.

The sushi was amazing. But the hibachi takeout was nasty. It was extremely salty. Can’t even eat it. So disappointed.
