I never go here because I am not really a fan of the food, but my family wanted to go here today as we hadn’t gone out together in a very long time because my parents are commercial truck drivers, we go in and the server is a blonde lady around middle twenties to early thirties i believe, she comes to take our appetizer orders and that’s when it starts… mind you there is 8 of us so we all order our appetizers and then as soon as we go to order our actual food right after this girl straight up starts going yeesh and oh the appetizer isn’t your meal… excuse me no it is called an APPETIZER. So i ordered the brisket plate and it comes with two sides, i wanted to add bacon and cheese to the potato and once again yeesh , oh gosh that’s a lot of food blah blah. She also said the same thing to my 16 year old brother and everyone else at the table. It was so very rude, to judge people and mind you i only ordered a meal and an appetizer, literally fat shame them and try to make them feel bad about food they’re paying for. Like you work there it is not your job to have an opinion when you are serving customers or taking their order, it is not your job to tell them they are ordering too much you are not paying for it. There are also people out there with eating disorders who that could have really affected , there are people who don’t get to have those family meals because of losing loved ones. It was a horrible experience.

We ate here when we went to Renfro Valley. They had the best BBQ Ribs I’ve ever had. So tender, juicy and absolutely delicious! My husband is gluten free and was concerned about the batter on the food, he found out that they do not use flour in their batter or anything else. He got the fried catfish, fried taters and fried cornbread. He loved it all! I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. I would definitely recommend eating here. The staff was very nice and attentive.

The staff is wonderful! I’m a vegetarian. So, I order their salads, wraps, and sides (likely prepared alongside their meaty offerings). The wraps, lettuce, pickle, onion, green pepper, and tomato are always fresh tasting. They’re happy to work with me while I place my intricate (annoying) order. Wait time is always appropriate or surprisingly quick! There’s an exciting array of side options, which are almost all prepared in their delicious signature seasoning. Great option to a meal before or after catching a movie at Eagle Theater!

The service was good. The staff was very nice and accommodating to our group. The food was servers pretty quickly. The ribs were very good. I will be honest and say the brisket with no sauce was kind of dry but it wasn’t bad, but you definitely want to get the apple butter bbq sauce. Overall not a bad place to grab a bite if you’re in Robinson.

Went to back porch smokehouse during lunch hour, We were greeted and seated fast. Waitress was very nice and did a great job. Place was clean and felt very nice and cool. Ordered the boneless wings and mashed potatoes, and sweet tea to drink. All the food was good and enjoyed my visit!

The Back Porch Smokehouse is a small, unassuming BBQ establishment attached to the movie theater in Robinson. In addition to BBQ, they have an ample selection of steaks, chicken, and burgers. I decided to give the brisket plate a try. While the brisket was tasty, it was quite a bit different from the traditional Texas-style brisket I’m accustomed to eating. The brisket was “chunky” versus “sliced”. The sides of potatoes and cole slaw were adequate, but nothing special. I’d probably make a different selection from the menu next time.

Monnaie creux Farms
This is a nice little place. Friendly and down home. The food was delicious and the beer was ice cold. There is a theater right next door. So you can enjoy a great meal and then take your date to a movie.

Excellent service. Had an internet issue but took care of it manually, a pleasant surprise in today’s world where loss of internet usually means everything stops working.
Had the onion haystack and a brisket sandwich. Both were very good. The briskett was moist and tender with a light smoke flavoring.

We shared the nachos appetizer. Excellent flavor. I had the meal salad with chicken. Also tasted good. Portions were unreal. Nachos plate was 10 inches across, and my salad meal was 12 inches. Pictures show how high it was stacked. Definitely coming back when we have a better appetite.
