We came when it first opened and wow the quality of the seafood was amazing. The prices was fair as well with a lot of extras that comes with the meal. The staff seemed like they were learning the ropes but new restaurant has its quirks. Definitely give it a try. It is worth it and hopefully it keeps the quality up as time goes by.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Dongwon Sushi & Tuna in Palisades Park! Everything we ordered was so yummy, and you could truly taste how fresh the fish was. The sushi literally melted in my mouth, especially the tuna, which was incredibly clean, rich, and perfectly prepared. The quality is top-tier and you can tell they really care about what they serve. On top of that, the staff were super friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Amazing food, amazing service, and an overall fantastic vibe. Can’t wait to come back!

The live sushi was fresh and good. It had better be for the hefty price of $219 for 3ppl. But the sides were off. It was different from the standard sukidashi but flavor was off. Dishes came out kinda cold when it should have been hot.

I recently visited Dong Won Tuna in Pal Park and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the Assorted Live Fish Platter (Hwaeo-modeum), and everything was incredibly fresh. The tuna, in particular, was the highlight of the meal—meltingly tender and high quality.
The best part was wrapping the sashimi in their aged kimchi (mukeunji); it’s a flavor combination I highly recommend! Even the side dishes (appetizers) served before the main course were impressive and well-prepared.
To top it all off, they gave us a complimentary grilled ribeye as “service.” It was perfectly cooked, bursting with juice, and absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for top-tier sashimi and great service, I highly recommend this place!

I’ve been waiting for this restaurant to open, but I thought I was really good to wait.
My experience was the best!!
There were not many tables, so I was a little disappointed, but it was the best as long as I waited!! There was nothing to say about the tuna sashimi, and the side food was a taste that I had never tried. The service was so good, and I was worried because it was just opened, but it was more than I expected. We’ll be back soon!! Let’s see each other often. Dongwon tuna !!

Overpriced lunch combo with small portions. Wanna be Bada Story with 2/3 portion. We can hear angry Chef yelling to workers outside the hall. Food was OK but not as good as Bada Story. $9 for Terra beer is not right for P.P.
$99 lunch for 2 also looks small for 2. Jejudo was much better in terms of portion.
