This was a joyful evening with dinner in downtown College Park. There was no street parking available, so had to drive down to the building parking garage. It located across one block on the ground floor that had glass walls. It had a full bar and also a small mart of merchandise. The decoration was modern. There were tables with chairs and coffee tables with sofas. The cocktail La Guavabita was well prepared to begin the meals. The food dishes were slightly dry. The desserts were as expected.

Arepa Zone’s new location in College Park is great. This Venezuelan fast-casual spot is serving up authentic arepas, cachapas, and empanadas that are sure to satisfy. The restaurant’s vibe is chill, making it perfect for college students to study or grab a bite with friends. They also have beers and Latino-inspired cocktails in this location. I hope they integrate later mocktails also in their menu to satisfy all tastes and ages. The menu features a variety of fillings, including meat, cheese, and vegetarian and vegan options. Plus, a small market inside selling Venezuelan and Latino goodies (games, books, sweets…).
Arepas are an amazing gluten-free option. Located in the ground level (fully accessible) of an apartment complex, Arepa Zone is a great addition to College Park’s dining scene. They’re bringing a taste of Venezuela to the area and aiming to become a neighborhood hub. Parking garage is available nearby and also there is always street parking available around. The music was Latino at some point during my visit.

ArepaZone is superb! Love their variety of different arepas and cachapas which are of a sweet corn variety. They have great vegetarian options too which I really like! Their Tequeños de Queso are really excellent and moist, never over dried. I highly recommend the ArepaZone in college Park! Their staff there are always very nice and welcoming too

It is one block next to trader joe.
The foods were excellent. They looked like small on the picture, but they quite full.
You have to put the order over the counter and they gave you the device that vibrate after the food is ready.
When we visited, there was one section of the seating area that is not finished.

I had passion fruit juice and a bean a cheese arepa. Both were delicious! I LOVE the arepa sauce they serve with it. It’s a garlicky creamy cilantro sauce. Highly recommend, especially because we got lunch for two with (non alcoholic) drinks for under $27

Delicious food. I’d tried to make my own arepas without having ever eaten one before. I wanted to try a REAL arepa and was excited to find out about this restaurant. The arepas here are delicious (now I know what they are *supposed* to taste like!), the space is clean and open, and they have a nice little shop where you can buy extras like books, candies, etc. Will visit again.

From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Drinks were equally impressive, with creative cocktails and a great selection all around. The real highlight? The owner. Truly sensational, engaged, passionate, and made everyone feel right at home. You can feel the heart behind everything here. A must visit spot!

Clean and nice atmosphere. Great and filling food. More affordable than I expected based on how nice it is in there.

Food is really good!! We got a bowl with shredded chicken and the chicken + avocado arepa. Server was really nice and helped us decide which beer would be best- the Polar paired perfectly with the meal!

Terrible customer service. Cashier didn’t even greet me. Looked like she didn’t even want to serve me. Isn’t the first time a cashier here has been like this. It’s almost like if you don’t speak Spanish then they turn their nose up at you to be completely honest. Won’t be getting another dime from me. Also over priced food like they have the high price of rent factored into every item.
