From the door to the plate this place is perfect! Fair pricing for meats, and probably one of my favorite concepts for a Mexican restaurant is the salsa bar. I’m not one for spicy food so being able to pick and choose my salsa rather than having one red or green sauce is perfect to enjoy my chips and my meal. For 20$ I get my bank for my buck, the steak platter comes with plenty of food for such a good deal. Steak, Beans, Nopales, and a Tostada with plenty of guac hits the spot every time, and what’s better than a good meal with a very nice atmosphere to enjoy my dish that has variety with the indoors or in the outside seating. Always find my self coming here with friends to enjoy a good meal, and thanks to friendly staff it makes a great experience. 100% recommend

This restaurant is absolutely AMAZING! It’s incredibly delicious and authentic. The employees and workers are very nice and polite, and will serve to whatever your needs might be. Ever since I moved here in 2012, this location has been many restaurant companies including Burger King, Hardy’s, and Salsa Verde. After Salsa Verde went out of business, I’d say this place has been a complete grand slam! The best Mexican food yet!

We both had small burritos, and shared chips with salsa and a small guacamole. We were impressed with the quality of the meat in our burritos, steak and Al pastor, and the salsa Was veryFlavorful but not hot. The guacamole had a great smooth consistency And was delicious. Prices are good and the Staff are always Friendly, Efficient, and nice. I also like that it’s independently owned and is a local restaurant.

My wife took me here. She had visited this place when she was out running errands for her business. She was right. The food was amazingly fresh,tasty, and authentic. You have to try this place!

Give this place a try, good enchiladas and quesadillas.. nice salsa bar. Very nice staff, but the BEST thing is taking home a bag of awesome homemade tamales to go for later! The chicken is amazing

Great flavor tacos, greasy tortillas, BOMB salsas. If you are going to see will burkart at the comedy vault this weekend in batavis and craving tacos after or before.. Go here!! Plus I normally don’t eat Torta Cubana, but here its delicious. Must try!

This place is always either a major success or a complete miss. It must depend on who’s working the kitchen at the time.
1st visit was a great steak torta.
2nd visit was a greasy, soggy, mess of a chicken quesadilla and messy tacos.
3rd visit was a perfect carnitas and perfect veggie torta with perfect bread, not soggy, came with pickled carrots and peppers, and plenty of avocado.
4th visit was a soggy veggie torta that looked like vomit and was 75% cheese with no pickled carrots and peppers, and literally a single slice of avocado at the far end.
I hate wasting food but I just couldn’t eat this last order, tried to get my kid to eat it and it ended up in the garbage uneaten. I can’t keep going back to a place where I have no idea what I’m going to get.

Overpriced to begin with. The steak was pretty mid, but the chicken I ordered was terrible. Dry and overcooked. My stomach has felt bad for almost 2 days since eating here. I had to come here to post this it was so bad. Don’t eat here.

Very relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff. The salsa bar goes from mild to “I can’t feel my tongue and lips.” Taco Tuesday and Thursday with chicken, carnitas, or al pastor and onions. A nice find and the chips and salsa help start the meal off.
