Food is usually good. Staff have messed up order a few times just because they aren’t slowing down and reading the order…and I’m usually patient when it has to be replaced. It’s on me for not checking the quality of food before I left the store so I called to have the problem resolved and was told my order could be remade or the next time I ordered it would be replaced. I’d given my name and number to be put in the system well no surprise that when I called back to have the order replaced I wasn’t in the system. I’ll have to go to Westland going forward where I won’t feel rushed and brushed off. Not worth the frustration of doing business with staff that has no hospitality or professionalism in their work.

I have always loved to get my Cheesesteaks from here. So much so that I often recommend them; but the one I got yesterday was horrific. I probably would’ve died from a stroke eating it! I only asked for light onions, mushrooms, and mild peppers. I don’t know why, but Extra Salt & possibly Seasoning was added even though I didn’t ask for it. Whatever was done completely ruined the sandwich for me, making it inedible. Even the bread was Salty! I tried calling the restaurant, but the phone just rang & rang. I couldn’t even leave a message with voicemail telling them what happened. If I give them another chance I would have to be present, watching it being made to avoid the disaster of a sandwich that I just had.

Uh, this is a weird one to write. I like the penn station on wayne rd significantly more. Its one of my favorite sub places.
I tried this location out and my fries were a soggy mess and my sub was decent but a little strange tasting. As a whole it was a much worse tasting meal in comparison to the wayne rd location

Our last visit, my husband ordered our food to go, when he got home he realized they only put one sandwich in the bag. He called the store, they apologized and said he could come pick it up. He drove all the way back, they left the toasted sandwich sitting out so by the time he went back and got home both sandwiches were ice cold. Open my sandwich and it was made wrong. So the $40+ we spent on food was a total waste because both sandwiches ended up in the trash. Called the store, the manager was rude, I explained my frustrations and how the sandwich was made wrong and she accused my husband of lying by telling me he didn’t specify the order (which I find hard to believe after years of always ordering correct). Very disappointed with the lack of caring from the staff. I submitted a complaint online and the owner tried to make it right by offering meal cards, much appreciated but overall I think the staff being hired to work there need to be evaluated. Not sure we’ll use this location again.

This place has fresh food made for you every order. The manager is always checking on you to make sure your food is to your satisfaction. Place was clean and they wipe down tables after people leave allowing others to sit at any table of their choice. Some of the employees were yelling back and fourth through the store and being immature. I found that to be unprofessional but other then that great place

The greeted me as I walked in before they knew I had an order. I was late because I went to the wrong location, but it seems like they made mine fresh as soon as I came in. I’ve never had Penn Station Subs before, but the cheese steak is really good. My barometer is Big John’s in Flint, and they’re unrivaled, but these are really good too. They’re much more compact, and they have a lot of flavor.
I’m not the biggest fan of the way they do their fries. I have a feeling they do it on the same surface as they do their steak, so it ends up being really oily. But they aren’t too bad. I definitely want to try another sub next time, because this was a good experience.
This location is also much better than Westland, so go to this location if you’re deciding on which one to go to.

The lady at plymouth location in MI was very weird and rude on the phone (lunch time dec 4). Very high energy, scattered and rude person. She needs to lay off the “coffee” during work hrs. Plus they screwed up our order. Never going back.

This is a great lunch spot with many options. Everything tastes fresh and the staff are extremely friendly! They’re pretty comparable to other “mid/high-end” fast casual sub shops in terms of price. I got a 8″ sub with a regular fry and soft drink for ~$16.
