First time ordering from China Palace through GrubHub.
We ordered Mongolian Beef ($18.55) and Egg Foo Young ($12.55). The Egg Foo Young was particularly good—flavorful and well-prepared. It came with a small side cup of gravy, which tasted great but wasn’t quite enough for the three patties.
The Mongolian Beef, however, was disappointing. The container was about 98% sautéed onions, with just two small strips of green pepper, a few noodle-like pieces, and maybe eight small slices of beef (around 2 inches each). The flavor was nice, but the overwhelming amount of onions compared to the tiny portion of beef made it feel unbalanced for the price.. I have Amazon prime so I only had to pay two dollars for delivery fee and then with the tip it came to $46

I usually love this place and it is the only one I ever go to. My order is always orange chicken with white rice, steamed dumplings, and Rangoons. I believe they have the best orange chicken on the market, and love that they incorporate real oranges into the food. Today I recently ordered on DoorDash the orange chicken. Now keep in mind, when you go in person, they say it takes between 15-20 minutes to complete your order on a typical night. After a couple minutes of me placing the order, the dasher was already there waiting. It only took a few minutes for me to receive a message that it was finished. I ordered the orange chicken, white rice, and steamed dumplings. The sauce for the steamed dumplings was EXTREMELY salty, and I know it usually is soy sauce based, but this was like pouring salt on your tongue. The dumplings were perfectly made, but the orange chicken was absolutely vile. I have never had orange chicken that tasted of burnt cornstarch in water with a hint of orange peel. It was gummy and lacked any and all flavor. I knew right when I opened it something was wrong, but I gave it a try anyways and it was inedible. DoorDash is an incredible company that took my complaint seriously over the quality of the food and issued a full refund. I’m really disappointed in whoever was cooking tonight. Whoever is cooking is going to lead you to incredibly horrible reviews and lead people to stop going there. I still will eat with you guys because I know the kind of quality you typically serve, but I will stop if this is consistently what I receive.

I’m completely disappointed with this place, I went today and ask for a fried rice, this is a recipe of rice with every kind of meat, pork, shrimp, eggs and been sprouts, is very popular recipe and full of flavor because everything comes on soy sauce, but….they just give me rice…with soy sauce…just rice…Lol

First time we ever ordered from here and it was absolutely the worst Chinese we have ever had!! All the food looked really good but the General TSO’s chicken was so hard and not edible, the egg rolls were the worst we have ever had and we love egg rolls they are usually our favorite thing to eat. The rice wasn’t even good, how do you screw up rice. 5 minutes away from the place. I would also like to say that when I walked into the place, that it smelled like sewage, which could have just been a fluke or they could have just had an issue.

Average chinese takeout. While there are better places out there, I would go back in a pinch if craving chinese food. They do have a nice spacious self-service seating area with many tables, which is nice. Staff was mostly nice and helpful.

Ordered delivery and actually spoke to the lady at restaurant. Missed sending all sauces, crispy noodles..etc., that we requested. Ordered shrimp wit lobster sauce which is VERY saucy. They packed it in a styrofoam box with the grossest fried rice I’ve ever eaten. Spilled everywhere in the bag. Spring rolls were almost burnt and hard as a rock. Taste of all the food was very greasy. Would never eat there again.

Came out in ten minutes, piping hot!
Hottest Chinese food I have ever had in my life.
Crab rangoons were perfect!
And it’s the first time I’ve ever had good rangoons.
Spare ribs were very hot and fresh and tasted delicious.
Chicken was hot, moist and juicy.
Rice was hot and tender.

NASTIEST FOOD EVER! bourbon chicken literally taste like cleaning supplies.. and my chicken wing meat was pink and NASTY, I tasted the blood while eating the meat. I’m literally sick to my stomach do not eat here y’all.
