I was shopping in the plaza and saw that the store had changed its sign. I had eaten lunch shortly prior to dropping by the restaurant. I was intrigued by the menu and told them I would return for dinner. I did purchase cicharron they had on the counter. It was delicious! I thought about what I wanted from their menu all afternoon deciding on Loco Moco, which I’d made for myself at home earlier this year, I assumed their would be better than my delicious but amateur freshman results. I was so wrong! The patties were frozen burgers! YUCK! Seriously. I have watched a dozen or more videos on the meal being made on social media. That’s west inspired me to cook it myself. It’s easy, simple and delicious. Theirs was not. The Spam Musubi was good along with the Tres Leches. I’m going back to try other menu options. So far my opinion is cautiously optimistic. I’m hoping Loco Moco is their worst dish.

As frequent attendees, my Boyfriend and I came in on a busy night worried about our timing, but Carter had us sat down within only 10 minutes of waiting (amazing!) Jimmy came and took our order and made sure our glasses were always filled with water. The food is always delicious, tastes fresh, and well portioned, they have a great verity on the menu, and the staff there are amazing, they are super friendly are quick.
I recommend their Pork buns
And In the photo we have spicy miso ramen, bbq chicken platter with extra rice, pork buns and mango shaved ice!

We tried the house ramen and the curry ramen. For my Asian friends that don’t play with food: just go somewhere else. Not authentic ramen and gives barely any toppings. The char siew was okay but that’s about it. The house ramen broth is like something from an instant ramen pack and I’ve eaten a lot of those. As an Asian who’s been to Japan, sorry this is not it. The fried stuff is probably better than the ramen. Service was good.

Excellent Food and Great Service!
Finally made it here for dinner with a family, and it was worth the visit. We had curry ribeye and char siu, oyster katsu, seafood variety, fried oysters, and both miso and house ramen with extra egg — everything was fantastic. The place is upscale casual with friendly, efficient staff and fair prices. It’s BYOB, which makes it even better. We’ll definitely be back!

I was looking forward to trying Momoyama based on some of the social postings and overall it didn’t disappoint. I like that they offer combo meals which allowed me to try their ramen and bbq ribs/rice which both were very good. My favorite thing was the ribs. I also decided to try bao buns which were good and Mochiko chicken which I would pass on. A bit on the expensive side.

I love coming here for my ramen, especially steak ramen, the buns are great and the Hawaiian dishes never disappoint. Portions are big. They have different drinks to choose from. Staff is always friendly and attentive.

Pretty good ramen. Healthy depth of flavour.

Quantity size is quite generous, granted I am from Canada where things are better portioned to better health lul. Honestly, was impressed. The only area for improvement from my experience was the pan fried gyozas, a bit soggy (perhaps some water + flour slurry to add a crispy bottom later, not sure the preparation) Still yummy tho!

Highly recommended!

This was our first time dining at Momoyama and it immediately became one of our top favorite ramen places. We had the pork buns which were delicious and the short ribs as an appetizer. Personally, I wouldn’t get the short ribs again, but they were very tasty. For the main course, I had the spicy Miso ramen and I need a second to compliment this ramen properly. The broth was the perfect amount of spicy. Typically, I find myself adding extra chili oil to spicy ramen because it does not quite hit the spot. While I did ask from some of their home made extra chili oil on the side to add in, I did not need to add it at all! Additionally, the noodles were cooked perfectly. The chasu was so tender that it was falling apart as I picked it up with my chopsticks and was full of flavor. And lastly, my favorite part, the egg. The egg was cooked to perfection and the yolk was still a bit runny, which is exactly how I like it in ramen. Overall, completely blown away by the spicy Miso ramen and will definitly be ordering it again. I also had a side of the chicken katsu, and the breading was crunchy, but the meat was tender and juicy. Everything was just so delicious. Our waiter was really nice, as well and all of the servers were very attentive. I think my only advice is to DRESS WARM during the winter. The restaurant is pretty cold, especially when people walk in and out for take out orders!! Otherwise, everything was amazing and I cannot wait until our next trip.

Very very good food! I love short ribs and I love the options they have especially the meal with both short ribs and ramen. The ramen tastes great and I love their soup options. The cold salad was a surprise I don’t usually like them from restaurants but it was seasoned great. Also if you like spicy food don’t forget to ask for the house-made chili oil. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly. If you’d like a good laugh ask to be served by Jimmy! Atmosphere is great and I just want to come back everyday. I definitely recommend!

1st Hawaiian barbecue experience. Awesome. Food was fresh and delicious. Location was a bit busy but when the waiter was able to get to us the service was impeccable. He even had some menu suggestions that were a major Key. I ended up leaving more than the money I saved in the form of a tip. Money well spent
