-Round style pizza was introduced as NY style pizza by the waitress. Dough was slightly softer than average NYC pizza I had over 10+ years, but still very flavorful and had nice chewy dough.
-Sqaure pizza was introduced as Detroit style pizza by the waitress and that was my main target for my previous visit. It had that fluffly thick dough with crunchy bottom and side, so I exactly got what I was looking for, so was very happy. I think this was my very first time seeing where one restaurant served both NY and Detroit style pizza.
-Although square pizza was my main target and I loved it, I have to say that the most impressive menu I got was actually Fried Cauliflower. Fried batter was amazingly crunchy and two sauces’ flavors balanced fabulously; red sauce being spicy oily one which reminded me that of sichuan style and green sauce had hummus-like texture but its taste was more like pesto. That crunchiness/spicyness/savory flavors in one bite was probably the best edible thing I’ve had during the year of 2025.
-Side bread that came with burrata chesse was kinda cold/stiff/burnt, so I wouldn’t order the burrata cheese here again, although the cheese itself was fresh and nice.
I would certainly love to come back to this place again to get the pizza and cauliflower.
But the waffle fries are really yummy with the ranch! I recommend ordering extra sauce on the side for the pizza
The, “Really Good Burratta,” slaps.
The pizza is also fantastic. I didn’t have it at the time. I heated up the pizza later in my air fryer, and it passed that test with flying colors. I ate it cold this morning also and it passes that test also.
It’s also nice to see an establishment offer up a variety of NA beverages for someone who cannot drink anymore.
My final comment, the Tiramisu cookie was a perfect experiment that turned out beautifully. It’s such a great cookie, it’s got a wonderful coffee flavor soaking the bottom of the cookie, it’s moist and the topping pairs excellently. Will be back soon.
The place feels incredibly cozy and welcoming-one of those spots that instantly makes you feel good. We weren’t very hungry, so we shared a small square pie (Prancing Upon My Nerves), and it was more than filling for two. We also had Aperol spritzes, which were perfectly balanced. We’ll definitely be back again and again (and again ) to try more
items from the menu.
