I visited Alex’s Pizzeria for the first time yesterday and ordered their 24pc. fried chicken meal. I received very dark chicken that seemed to have been cooked in burnt oil. It even had the smell of burnt oil. I called the following day and spoke with a lady, who instead of apologizing, she basically accused me of lying, even after I stated to her I did not expect anything in return. BAD customer service on her behalf.

Apparently Alex’s has new owners sigh. Ordered the medium pizza. Dough was raw pizza was burnt on bottom. And it had enough cheese to cover three pizzas. I am going to miss the old owners and chef. Their quality pizza dough it’s not the same.

Just placed a pick up door dash through Alex’s. Immediately my order said it was ready. I thought that was odd. 2 min later I get a call from door dash telling me the store requested an additional 30 min for my order. Do I want to wait. I said sure. No problem. I ordered 2 small pizzas and an order of fried mushrooms. Ordered at 647. So I go there at 715 knowing it’s possible I have to wait. Well no my order was sitting on the top of something in the back and my mushrooms in a brown paper bag on the front counter. Food was cold and dry when I got home. I ordered4 ranches. One was open and spilled everywhere and it also was horrible. Tasted expired and sour. Can’t complain to the store for refund so you have to call door dash. I received a refund for half the amount I spent. I’ve had a bad experience here before and thought hey let’s give it another try. Never again. The old people working the counter weren’t even communicating with me or listening to me. Worried about if i paid or not. Meanwhile the cook is trying to explain it’s ordered through dd so it’s already paid for. He held onto my pizza for a good 5 min.

Not happy and I am disappointed. Hanger is real. Do better!!!

Really good! Got the cheese pizza (cut in 12 slices which was cool) & breadsticks. First time here. Got the food delivered and it was still warm. The breadsticks especially won me over.

We got the cheese bread (pretty great) and a large square with 4 toppings. I didn’t have the pizza, the next day when I told my 15 yr old son to reheat some for lunch, his response was that the pizza ‘didn’t have any taste”. I found that weird, our boys could live on pizza alone. I tried it and agreed, not sure what changed?

Excellent service great experience as always! I chose to dine in, a great spontaneous day out with a friend. The lasagna was cheesy meaty and flavorful. I did not finish it all the portion was great. I had to stop halfway through to ensure I could enjoy the home made cannoli a favorite of many! I hear the cheesecake buried in cream and chocolate was delightful.

I loved seeing the owner and creator of the excellent dishes present!

The lines are out the door at lunch hour, they have quite a following at their take out counter. You will find delicious choices:

5/5 Alex’s is going to be our exclusive place for takeout pizza from here on! Usually, we have to go all the way to Ann Arbor to get the quality east coast inspired pizza that is near and dear to our hearts. Beyond relieved that we can get quality pizza down the road. The margherita was delicious and we look forward to trying their other pies.

For the most part I love coming here. I chose to grab lunch here today because it was my birthday. I order the same thing every time, no olives because they typically don’t agree with me. Specifically ordered no olives, which the order taker interpreted as extra, which I then corrected and he read it back to me as no olives. Get there for my salad, and it was loaded with olives. I had also ordered green peppers on it and there were none. I took it back in, and the older lady that was there took it. There was a ton of olive juice in the lettuce from it being extra. Instead of replacing the section of lettuce that had olive juice all over it, she just removed the olives and threw some more lettuce on top. I did mention the green peppers, but I did not get any. I am not allergic to olives, but they make me sick, so this kinda sucks. They should be more mindful of allergies and food issues if it is mentioned.
