Mom asked if I would take her to Charleys.
She had seen an ad on Facebook. So, when we walked in the place didn’t seem clean. I was kinda turned off by that. She placed her order. I decided I would go to Publix after and get a sandwich there. I did try to order a ice cream cone, but was told they don’t have them at the moment. The meal came and Mom was not impressed with her sandwich. The fries were good though. The way Charleys advertised their sandwich and what she received was a JOKE.
I know restuarants false advertisements are common, but the sandwich she got was not acceptable. Mom said you were right. I don’t want to come here again. That’s not good business. I told her I’ll cook an eye of round and make her a good beef dip sandwich with auju. I find eating out it’s mostly disappointing. If you’re wanting a sandwich Publix is a better choice.
Look at the 2 advertisement photos and then look at what Mom was served.
That’s pathetic. Smh.

it was just Marley and Adrian working on were very helpful and had great energy I loved my food … I haven’t here in years! it was a great a comeback i’ll never forget it (10-17-2025) around 8pm

Helen and her co-worker (didn’t get his name unfortunately) were extremely nice and welcoming! Food was prepared quickly and amazing customer service. I spilled a drink by accident and they immediately went in to clean up and assure me it was ok. Super awesome experience!

Pretty good cheesesteak. Went for the large combo and got a 10% off. About $18 which was enough for two people. The fries were fresh and crispy.

The service from the man at the register was extremely rude and unprofessional. He spoke very fast and so quietly that it was almost impossible to understand him, and he did so with a clear bad attitude. This made the interaction very uncomfortable.
I do understand English, but when someone speaks in a low voice, rushed, and without any effort to communicate properly, it creates a frustrating experience for the customer. The only reason the situation was manageable is because a young woman noticed what was happening and kindly helped translate. She was the only one who provided good customer service.
I am leaving one star solely because of the discomfort caused by this employee.

The chicken was good. We got the barbecue flavor. The fries were supposed to be cheese fries, but they were very bland. The cheese steak was not great. The strawberry lemonade was decent, but they gave us no ice, so it was warm. We will not be back.

I ordered takeout. A small cheesesteak with lettuce and tomato. This is what I got. The only lettuce was the piece I’m holding in my hand. I had to throw out the drink as well as it had no syrup. This place, like many other fast food places, lack the quality and consistency for the amount of money they charge today. Will not be coming back.

So can you believe I asked these people to make something they have the ingredients for and they refused it. I will never ever in my life ever set foot into this establishment again nor will I ever recommend anyone to go here and I will see to it that anyone who I know does never set foot into this establishment.
So here’s the funny thing, they have chicken strips they have bread they have cheese they have mayo that means they can make a chicken strip sub. But they refused it. I guess they must be making some really good business to refuse business. Do yourselves a favor there’s so many choices on this trip that are way better than them. Just stay away from this place. I promise you it will be good for you.
So I was about to walk away but the guy inside the store decided to get snippy with me because I was taking pictures. This is the guy who denied me the meal. Now he wants to try to do something and it’s too late. By the way this guy was pretty rude on his second approach to me.
I’ve heard overall this place is not that great anyways they are a Jersey Mike’s wannabe but they don’t come close to the quality or products that Jersey Mike’s has so at the end of the day Charlie’s is just a second rate Jersey subs who doesn’t really carry the quality or the intelligence to run a business. Go to Jersey Mike’s instead.
